What will the trailer include?

Paramount Logo.
Bad Robot Logo.
A razor.
Quinto's Spock shaving himself with a razor.
Quinto's Spock getting a small cut on his cheek similar to the one Nimoy had...

Ooozing GREEN blood, of course.

You know what I'd love to see?

If JJ is such a fan and might throw in a few "Easter Eggs", how's about this-

It seems the movie will jump from one time period to another several times.

What if in one of those jumps, we see Uhura talking with a blonde woman in a blue uniform on the bridge, and the other woman says to Uhura "What are you doing?" The reply is "Taking command of this ship!"

If that were included in the film, it HAS TO be in the trailer.

If not in the movie, hey, put it in the trailer anyway. :)

[some of you know EXACTLY what scene I'm talking about]

Some of us don't!! Please elaborate!!

In the TAS episode "The Lorelei Signal", the Enterprise is lured to a planet where local radiation kills males, but has essentially changed the females into something akin to vampires. They're lovely, but they drain males of their life energy, and are more or less immortal.

Part of the "lure" involves transmitting a signal that makes men docile. While the landing party is taken captive on the planet, Uhura notes that all the men on board have slowly fallen into a mindless stupor...including Scotty, who Kirk left in command.

Uhura calls Christine Chapel to the bridge, and has her take note of what's going on. She then tells Scotty she's relieving him of command (he replies "Very thoughtful of you, love"), and promptly orders all-female security teams to the transporter rooms to make sure none of the men leave the ship. (Probably should have done the same with the shuttle bay, but I digress.)

Christine is taken aback, and asks Uhura "What are you DOING?"

The reply?

"Taking command of this ship."

A while later she leads an all female rescue team to the planet, and first hand guns down the leader of the alien women with phaser stun.

If only some of this could be done in live action, even as a brief snippette...

Sulu didn't become a helmsman until some time after Gary Mitchell's death.

If he was even on the Enterprise during Pike's time as captain, he'd have been a physicist.
Maybe he started fresh out of the Academy as a helmsman who later went to the physics department, then went back to the helm when he decided to switch to the "command" track.

...I'm just sayin'.

Not every fact revealed about a Star Trek character is necessarily at a steady state. Many things could have happened "off screen" before and after a canonical fact was revealed "on-screen".

For example, I got into a debate on another board with someone who said that the First Officer of ANY Pike-Commanded Enterprise had to be the same "Number One" who we met in The Cage. This other person would not agree with me that many things could have transpired in Pike's 10-year Enterprise career between The Cage and Kirk assuming command, such as Pike may have got a new First Officer.

Many things could have transpired between Sulu graduating Starfleet Academy and he being the head of Astrophysics...like I said, possibly he started out as a Helmsman.

A little snippet fron Simon Pegg's blog indicates he thought the trailer (I'm assuming it's the same one that the bigwigs have seen) was pretty good:

Also bumped into JJ Abrams who showed me a short Star Trek trailer on his iPhone that he'd put together for corporate. I couldn't close my mouth for 40 minutes. Also caught up with Zach Quinto and geeked out about the fact we're in Star Trek.
