most annoying tv character in history

790 (the robot face) was hilarious!

I agree,

irritating but funny unlike Scrappy-Doo who was just annoying and you wanted him to die Itch & Scratchy style

Wow, am I the only person who likes Charlotte from LOST?

Don't even know who see is - only seen a few eps and stopped watching "Lost" after the blacksmoke, love triangles and polar bears

-Anyone from Lost. (I can't even stand the promos. :o)
-Neelix
-Kes (she was just too gollygosh!rainbows)
-Chakotay (I used to laugh so hard everytime would recite his 'akoocheemoya' thing. Yeah, the spelling is probably wrong.)
-Worf
-Anyone from Seinfeld
-Sara Sidle (She. Just. Won't. Go. Away.)
-Max from Dark Angel
-Ziva from NCIS
-Cameron from House. She just grates on every nerve I have. I find her rather needy, whiney, has that 'poor me' mentality and any storyline involving her is forced and contrived.
-Foreman from House. Just, no.
-Lana Lang. She has absolutely no use on Smallville anymore, I don't know why they keep her around. She's either always being kidnapped, always super pissed or investigating conspiracies on her tippie toes. And her relationship with Clark is sort of turning into Ross/Rachel. Bugs the crap out of me.

I'm sure there are more, I find myself getting progressively more irritated with each passing year. :o

What is this? I sat down, read all 166 posts, and I'm seriously the first one to mention Dr Lee from Stargate? He isn't even funny-incompetent any more. He's just awful. The other characters are even written to not have faith in the guy! He's just a weak excuse for comic relief now.

Forgot about him, wow! You think the writers would have killed him off

guess not

but I found the other two middle aged geeks to be very funny, one of them was played by John Billingsley

Took me a minute to remember who you were talking about. He's only mildly annoying compared with the Olympians of Annoyance that Stargate has thrown at us, starting with the insufferable Daniel Jackson (and he was such a nice guy in the movie, too). Other standouts include that guy Dom DeLuise played, that guy Richard Kind played, Teyla, McKay, Shep when he's being dumb, Ronan when he mumbles and shrugs his way thru a scene, and Keller is also rapidly wearing out her welcome. Robert Picardo seems to be digging his way out of annoying status, amazingly enough.

I may have only seen one Atlantis ep, but I have seen a fair amount of SG-1, and I can't stand Jack O'Neill.

What a wiseass.

Does this guy ever say anything serious? Even ONCE in his life? I find it hard to believe he'd last ten seconds in the Air Force with an attitude like that.

Dude, we're talking the Air Force. It's not really the military

O'Neill didn't start getting extremely silly until his last season or two. He was always a smart-ass, but it wasn't until the end where it was line after line after line. I will admit, O'Neill is my all-time favorite, but it does get annoying.

I wouldn't say annoying so much as overrated. He's not nearly as witty, clever, and charismatic as his fans think he is. He's kind of the K-Mart John Critchon(yes the irony of Browder being his replacement isn't lost on me) with the franchise being the K-Mart Star Trek.

Wow, lots of entries here. Perhaps I should compile a list of the repeat offenders and make a poll for you guys.

Oh, and I'm adding the new Starbuck to the list :)

Kara Thrace (no explanation needed.)

Don't forget this guy

You stopped watching after the first episode? ;)
almost :)
somebody said to me check it out again because its getting better so I tuned in again. I agree the show has good actors, but they just keep dragging it out with back stories and flash forwards and flashbacks....In season one they drag out some big story about the big secret buried "hatch" for about 20 episodes causing the series to go nowhere

I went back one time for a final Lost episode which made me tune out all together - they showed these big mysterious "Others" as a bunch of suburbanites. Jack is playing NFL style football with them and suddenly the show ends and the credits go "LOST"
Total WTF jumptheshark moment
