Grrrrrr.... an "almost purchase"...

I just got outbid on an absolutely gorgeous vintage bridle hide briefcase. Top quality, no damage, decades of wear left in it. Auction's not quite over, but I can't really go higher on it as I've also got my eye on a different briefcase due to end in a few days time.

EDIT - caved in and bid up a little more, because it's a damned fine example, but I just got outbid by another new bidder. Oh well, will have to redouble my efforts on the other case I've got my eye on instead. I'm definitely out on this one now.

Needed something light to carry in my back pocket for once... also means I can leave the mp3 player at home... phone and music all in one, at about the size of a credit card. Never been so excited at a purchuse in ages. I usually only buy phones when the last one literally breaks down irretrievably, which can mean anything up to 2 or 3 years.

Not true. I like them very much. I even saw them in concert once (on the Hold Your Fire tour).

Or maybe you just didn't like some of Neil's lyrics.

I am trying to be more open-minded towards things like Snakes & Arrows. I have read the lyrics, I know what that album is really all about ("What should have been our armor becomes a sharp and angry sword").

Either way, from a Rush fanatic like myself, I say congrats!!

thanks. I would have bought all this from the iTunes Store, but they all have it in the crappy DRM version. (None of their Rush material is, as yet, in 'iTunes Plus' )
