Who is the Mole?

Mark looked devastated. I was thinking earlier that Mark looked best prepared to win the game because of his journal. Honestly, it wouldn't have surprised me if he had gone out this time without it.

I'm going to say right now that Clay is the Mole. He doesn't do much, but, every so often, he does something to screw them up (and I'm convinced his grab of the exemption was actually an attempt to stonewall the vote and give no one it).

Didn't think it was Victoria, but I wish she was still around... pretty much no more eye candy left on the show now. :p
Ahem, I didn't say that. ;)

Anyhow, I dunno. I'm leaning toward Clay or Alex. I found that it's usually the people they don't focus on that ends up being the mole. Nicole is clearly just acting up in order to through people off.
I only caught the last 45 minutes, but it looked like Paul calmed down a lot.

Isn't Alex the one fluent in Spanish? I think he's singlehandedly helped them win on more than one occasion.

Yeah, definitely. That was refreshing to see.

I'm leaning towards Clay myself, but so far I'm 0 for 2: I first thought it was Ali, and when she left I thought Victoria might be the Mole. I'm also thinking it just might be Nicole. Maybe by so overtly causing trouble, she's actually throwing suspicion off herself. The others might be thinking she's too disruptive to actually be the Mole.

I can't remember, but I assumed that everyone knew that about him so he basically had to step up.

In the end, it's usually revealed that the sabotage is so subtle/unimportant that I'm not even looking for something overt anymore.

As for Craig, it's possible that he could have faked because for whatever reason he knew that he'd be forced to play that journal game... but, erg, I dunno. If you're the mole, why would you even need the journal?

No spoilers past the episode that aired please, but this is a discussion of that episode, so spoilers are fine for that :)

After a long wait, the Mole is finally back. What did you guys think? The host obviously isn't Anderson Cooper, but I think he did a passable job. Everything else in the game is very similar to before, so it should be exciting. Does anyone have any guesses for the Mole?

At this point, I haven't a clue who the Mole is, but that should be expected. I tried to guess who Marcie was aiming for (since that person wouldn't be the Mole), but she said she had a bad memory, so I'm guessing she's a bad test taker. My initial thought was to dismiss Nicole as being too obvious, but it might be intentional. If she knew whining would get her control over who does what in the second game, she could be the Mole. What do you guys think?

I thought it was going to be the guy who made them push him around in wheel-barrel!!!...now I think it is the history teacher...

Craig

You will all be shocked when I am right, but it's Craig.

:)

I've been thinking it's him from the first episode, but I could be totally off. I also thought it might be Victoria and look how that ended.

I too think that they may have copied the journals and will be giving them back soon...totally taking away the journals seems just too cruel and actually pretty pointless. They are a big element of the game.

Well, I knew that Victoria and Bobby weren't the Mole... Neither is Nicole. I believe that it's either Clay, Kristen or Mark.

Craig would have had the perfect oppurtunity to sabotage the game during the mountain climb, but he actually over exerted himself in order to not let others down... and added money to the pot.

But (part of) the point of being the Mole is to throw people off track - which means you can't throw the game every time. I'm thinking it's Craig too, but I'm wondering about the blonde.

Pretty much my thought. You can't cause the loss of the pot every time. Further, he only missed not adding their money to pot by 30 or so seconds.

Kristen's out. Clay seemed like he talked more than anyone else that game. I think he left the first game convinced Mark would take the exemption (second game he didn't need to do anything).

Technically speaking, Mark's just as suspicious, if not more, but I find Mark's personality too believable to think he's the Mole.

Alex insisting on playing the game gives him cover. I still think it's either him or Clay.
Although, after this week's Paul flare-up, I kind of think Clay is out of the running.

Craig getting the exemption is sort of like Dorothy getting the exemption in S2. I think it was really by accident more than any foreknowledge.

I no longer have any clue who The Mole might be.

I was kind of surprised at how easily everyone gave up on the 2nd assignment. Craig made it difficult, but if all of them had worked together and assisted one of the pairs, that pair might have been able to finish in time to nix Craig's ploy to get an exemption.

It's looking more and more like Clay is the mole, but I'm not sure they would make it that obvious for us. I don't know. I think it may be Mark, because he led the quitting of the second challenge, and has also quit on some other challenges (like the underwear one). His behavior seems kind of odd and eratic, even for someone who's angry over his journal. I don't know, there's just something weird going on there. Maybe that means he's the mole, maybe not.

I loved how stiff-nosed and haughty-taughty they all got with the second challenge that they weren't going to embarass themselves or ruin their dignity and do it. As if being on the show in the first place isn't a blow to their dignity. What a bunch of babies they were being about it.
