I am busy packing for my vaction and looking at some Trek to take along and one book that caught my eye was Final Frontier. Is this any good? Worth the read?
I think it is an excellent book. I read it soon after it was first published and it remains a favorite of mine.

Yes, if you are talking about Duane's book, then yes it is one of the best from her...which her's usually are..
HOWEVER..the book version of TREK V is still a good read. I have read all of the book versions of the movies and all of the, even TWOK, were better than the movie..(But didn't read FC onward to be honest)

Robert, the book is by Diane Carey not Diane Duane.
GREG COX, I think thats his name, wrote some cool books and were some of the last ones I read. There was one he read, and I can't remember which one, where the humor and the characters were SO right..

I personally hate books that have long chapters which Duane has.
Did these two ever co-write a story? I think the books they wrote were my favorites..back in the day when I read TREK books...

Yes, I imagine that can be quite a strain for those whose attention span is, shall we say, somwhat on the smallish side. Personally, I like the novels with a few simple sentences per page and an accompanying illustration. "Watch Worf run. Run Worf, run."
Most Diane Duane books are written, or at least co-plotted, with Peter Morwood, Duane's husband.

That's alright; I don't think you can be expected to remember the books Greg reads.

I'm not sure if you're being funny...but both parts of his Euginic Wars were good.
That is categorically not true. The only time Peter co-plotted or co-wrote was The Romulan Way, on which his name appears as collaborator. He often kibbitzes on plots with her, but it's not more or less than what, say, TerriO and I do for each other. Most Diane Duane books are written, or at least co-plotted, with Peter Morwood, Duane's husband.
