Gort (sans sombrero) is my entry for this weeks General SF&F Avatar Contest. It took me like forever to make the animation, by the way. This GIF file has over a hundred different frames!

I've been cheating a little. I use a program called Image Grab to turn AVI files into individual frames. Then I take every third or fourth frame and make the gif. I did this Gort avatar real quick as a test -

It only has eleven frames. The quality is so-so because it's from a YouTube video.

I'm going to redo the TFF at some point in a high resolution, and I have something in mind for TUC - once I've worked out how to do it - I may need some help...

These are just beyond awesome. Between the TWOK sombrero battle and all the great LCARS stuff, this thread has taken a leap to a completely different level of glorious absurdity. I love it!
