There is always the chance this movie might suck. I highly doubt it, and I hope it wont...but then, you never know.

If the movie does crap up the continuity AND is bad film on top of that, how loud will your voice ring on this website?

Oh I have no doubt that a crap fest would pretty much kill the franchise, and there will be a lot of squawking for sure. But I won't lose any sleep over it. If TPTB cannot produce a decent movie with the resources they have at their disposal, then so be it, it would probably be best if Trek takes a good long rest.

Nemesis was a masterpiece compared to that.

hmm perhaps the magic 8 ball maybe of more help.

Then they'll be an even longer gap until the next film or TV project. By next year, 7 years will have passed since Nemesis and 4 after ENT got cancelled. So a decade or more until somebody dares go to a Paramount pitching anything with the words STAR and TREK in the same sentence.

Life will go on... I won't enjoy it, mind you.
