You're quite wrong about this one. As much as I remember Ronaldo's antics from Wc06 (haven't watched any matches he's played in since), this time around he had some cause to be in pain.
Granted, he did recover pretty quickly, but Friedrich did step on his foot. I'd post a link to a youtube video showing that, but it looks like UEFA removes these ...

Yeah, I also want Turkey to win for a ton of reasons. One of them being all the hordes of Croatians travelling through Slovenia every time there's a game (and the day afterwards).

Yeah, there's almost a consensus in Austria, that you've got to dislike Germany in football, for whatever reason.

Here, the Dutchies are very populer. People also like Spain and Portugal.

People like the successful teams I guess, France, Netherlands, Portugal, Italy, whoever is winning. Except the countries where there are lots of immigrants here, which makes them disliked by right-wingers and xenophobes of all kinds. Especially the comments regarding Turkey's success in message boards/online newspapers/etc. were absolutely digusting.
