By the way I was born in 72. I have bled black and gold from the first day i have drawn breath.
Right, because you climbed on the bandwagon when they were on top. You root either for the hometown team, or the team that's winning a lot when you grow up. Since the Steelers fill both requirements, you became a Steelers fan. Just like the bandwagon Cowboys, Packers, Dolphins, 49ers, and Patriots fans you're doing your best to discredit!
I have cussed people out for interrupting the game while I am watching.
you must be a joy to be around!
I am on the hate the pats bandwagon because I hate cheaters.
Rather than throw that around, care to actually address it? You're aware that stealing signals is perfectly legal, and done by every team, right? The Patriots 'cheated' on a technicality, that you can't film it so you can go back and watch later. If it was a guy in the stands with a polaroid camera or binoculars, they'd be doing the same thing every other team is doing. You're on the Pat Hater bandwagon because it's fashionable to do so, or you just like parroting whatever ESPN leads with on Sportscenter...
Also the steelers are sold out as far as season tickets go for the next 25 to 30 years and that was even back during the 80's when they just barely where competitive. Red sox may have this but I doubt the pats do.
Ah, more talking about stuff you don't understand. Here's the number for the Patriots' ticket office: 800-543-1776. Why don't you call up and ask for season tickets, tell them you heard there isn't a wait. They'll laugh you right off of the phone. It's just about impossible to get a regular-season single game (I've tried), so good luck with season tickets! As for the Red Sox, you're not even close. There's about a 10,000 person waiting list (last time I heard), and it hasn't moved a single spot in years. If you got on the list today, you might make it in 30 years or so, if they build a new stadium or go through a prolonged rough patch, maybe?
I was ready to give the pats respect until spygate.
And then Sportscenter told you not to. You clearly don't understand the issue well enough to have made that decision on your own, if you were "ready to give the Pats respect" before the story broke. Especially if you STILL aren't ready after they were one defensive stop away from a 19-0 perfect season (all carefully monitored, no possibility of any funny business this year).
When the pats finish their fall shortly
Really? The Pats are 28-4 in the regular season over the past two years, and played in the AFC championship and the Superbowl. The Steelers are 18-14, and lost in the Wild Card round in their one playoff apperance. Who's falling? Tell you what? Care to make a wager? If the Pats don't make the playoffs, I'll wear a Steelers avatar for the entire playoff run. Will you wear a Patriots avatar if the Steelers don't make it? I'm pretty confident I won't be changing MINE, so it's an easy wager for me to make. You, superfan?
you two jokers will go find another wagon to jump on.
Funny, you said in another post that you respected fans of other teams. Push comes to shove, and it's just hot air, and anyone who doesn't waive a stupid yellow towel during a football game is a bandwagon fan, and a joker? Picking apart your nonsense is amusing, but a rational discussion would be a lot more fun, if you can manage...
I mean the bruins suck, you rooting for the redwings now? By the way I hate hockey.
Lost the football AND baseball arguments, and didn't want to bring up basketball because the Celtics are having a good year and the 76ers have been golfing for weeks, so you skip to hockey? Not a hockey fan, so couldn't care less either way. Bruins DID make the playoffs this year, though, and came damned close to upsetting a much better team, so there's that. And honestly, with the way you present yourself, I'd be tempted to root for the Red Wings over the Penguins this year just out of spite. Means I'd have to watch hockey, though, so I'll pass...
