I found myself enjoying INSIDE MAN on my rewatch of Season 7. I think I enjoyed the "evil" Barclay hologram's wicked manipulation of the crew, especially in contrast to the bumbling real Barclay. Dwight Schultz did a great job, and it's always great to see the "new" Troi--I wish, somehow, she could have been made a regular on VOY. And the imitations of the crew from fake-Barclay--priceless!
On the same DVD disc, I found myself unable to rewatch NIGHTINGALE or CRITICAL CARE. The latter is a very good, well done episode, it just bores me to tears. But NIGHTINGALE is worse than boring--it presents both Harry and especially Janeway in a terrible light. I *hated* the interaction bw the two when Harry asked for command--neither character seemed remotely like themselves. I now vote for this episode, despite its good intentions (giving Harry some characterization) as the worst of S7.
Thank God that ENDGAME gave us such glorious and moving Janeway and Harry moments.
