Excellent episode. I'll miss Amber.

I noticed the "Vote for Change '08" sticker in the bathroom. Heh.

Yeah, I noticed that too. A dig at the GOP but in the same scene House makes the foot-taping joke against Dems. Heh.

Yeah, I noticed the sticker, too. Thought that was amusing.

One thing I forgot to mention: Just before his seizure, House apologized to Wilson! Have we ever heard him apologize? Maybe once to Stacy? I really can't think of a specific instance.

We have. I can't think of any specific examples now, but we've seen him do it before in rare moments of sincerity. But it's probably only ever been to Wilson, Stacey and maybe Cuddy.

Huh? "Against Dems?" Larry Craig is a Republican.

So if anything, I'd think it would be the other way around. Having an Obama sticker among bathroom grafitti isn't exactly flattering.

I thought Craig was Democratic? Huh.

Well, I was wrong. Nevermind.

Incredible. No ball-dropping, and arguably bar-raising from Part I. The last montage was wonderful, and thanks for identifying the music upthread.

Episode=Excellent, Season=Good, Doclings... There should be an Undecided option (not that it matters horribly since the poll's a little out of whack anyways). They're interesting characters, but I was a little more interested in Cameron, Chase, and Foreman. Still, the current format works I think. And the aforementioned montage seemed to subtly hint that we will be delving deeper into the new team's personalities (seeing Taub's wife, for example), so if that happens with a positive effect then they should definitely stay on.

Holy crap. That was the best hour of TV I've seen in ages--might require a rewatch since I was tear, uh...had something in my eye for a huge chunk of the episode. Robert Sean Leonard completely stole the show.

I'm glad they didn't go the "obvious" route of having House and Amber being romantically involved, which probably would have necessitated a "remote hitting the screen" moment.

As for Wilson (have we ever heard his first name before tonight's ep?) and House's friendship, while the reasoning might not be completely valid, Wilson could and probably will hold a long grudge against House for putting Amber in that situation to begin with. I, for one, hope it lasts a little longer in TV time than Foreman's brain malfunctions.

Wow, what a depressing finale. Brilliant, but what a downer. :( My two fellow House fans thought they'd kill Amber, but I guess I was kind of holding out hope. I really loved her character from the beginning, and would have rather seen her as one of the three on House's team. I like all three of the ones he did choose, but I liked Amber better than any one of them.

That being said, I liked the way they brought her back, and how they managed to make her and Wilson a believable couple without changing either character.

The two episodes together were brilliant. So sad. I was totally crying when House realized she was going to die and they woke her up.

Poor House--did anyone notice he was crying after the memory thing? Wilson is the one person who really means something to him, and I think it's going to take Wilson a long time to forgive him for being the reason Amber was on that bus.

Wilson finding the note at the end of the episode was just heartbreaking. :(

And Thirteen! I can't believe she tested positive for Huntington's. :( I didn't see that coming, especially in an episode that was already so sad.

All in all, excellent.

The season itself for me was somewhere between Good and Excellent. I have to say, I don't really miss Chase and Cameron all that much. :o I liked them as characters, but if they move on next season so the newbies can fill their places permanently, I won't be all that sorry.

WOW what an episode and what a season...

Overall the season was somewhere between good/excellent, I loved the HOUSE IDOL theme and then I think the new ducklings have done very well and its time to end the Chase/Cameron reign in House.

Overall I hope next season we see the strain of HOUSE/WILSON relationship after Amber's death and I want to see more of Cuddy/House too.

HEY EMMY'S hope you where paying ATTENTION !

Plenty of times.

On the House/Wilson friendship. As great a show it can be, House tends to be very episodic sometimes. I imagine that any "strain" on their friendship will only last a couple of episodes next season before some 'event' happens that brings them back together. Afterall, without Wilson who'll give House his "Aha!" Moments? ;)

OMGoodness...did I bawl! Well done episode, but ya, the House/Wilson friendship will be quite strained now :(

I'm not so sure Wilson will blame House. At least, he shouldn't. Amber made a free choice to help another human being -- even though it was a person she shared a mutual dislike with, the man who had fired her from her previous job. That was a very noble and compassionate act. If Wilson blames it on House, then he's defining House as the only one with any relevance to what happened, and that trivializes Amber's free and admirable choice. Wilson's a good, optimistic person, so I'd like to think that he'd choose to focus on the positive, to honor Amber's decency and not diminish it by pinning it all on House.

Great ending to the season.
Think House and Wilson will have a long and rocky road ahead of them.

It's tough to pin TOO much of it on House, given the lengths he went through to try and find the information to save her...

I'm certain he'll eventually get to that point (when I say eventually, I mean within a few episodes), but you have to remember he's a human being. A grieving human being. It's only natural he'll blame House for what happened despite House's help in discovering it was her who was sick and what the illness was.

That would be "Nephrologist" in House's case, making him a kidney specialist.

And "Endochronology?" What's that, the study of clockworks? ;) I think you mean "Endocrinology." (Maybe you were thinking of dendrochronology, the science of determining the age of trees.)

Meanwhile, we got to see Amber's full name on her hospital bracelet. I think it said "Volakis, Amber." Something Greek, anyway.
