Indeed I am. Especially as my examinations are now over! Haha - test match cricket and ice cream, day after day.
Sounds like a good definition of heaven, except it's a bit cold for ice cream today.
England fuck up near the ned of day 2....
I like Vaughan and think hes one of ENG's best captains (his record shows that) but why on earth he is obessed with the stupid night watchmen batter. Hoggard did it and only succeded 50% of the time and he tried the same with Sidebottom and oh look he was out so we throw a wicket away.
Seriously the whole idea is pointless, especially since our bowlers can't bat to save there lives.

At least New Zealand managed to do what we do best and give you guys a great chance to win.
Indeed - at lunchtime yesterday, they looked pretty much nailed-on certainties to be going to Trent Bridge 1-0 down. Yet the bloke with the trumpet in the crowd who started playing the theme to 'The Great Escape' when Broad drove through the covers to save the follow on 
must have known something, because by the close they'd managed to do just that!
To be honest though, they can't keep relying on the Mont-ster to bail them out every time or the opposition to throw away their advantage like the Kiwis did during that mad couple of hours. The good teams (i.e the Aussies and South Africans) don't do that - they just grind you into the dirt, so our lot are going to have to figure out how to play for a full 4/5 days if they want to avoid getting thumped. Still, it was a pretty decent showing on the last day to chase down what was the biggest winning target at that ground by some way - they just need to build on it now....

A passable showing by England, given a good century from KP. Colly and Bell really need to get their act together though, or there will be other people after their places. Some of the England team turned up and the wicket didn't do as much as Vettori had obviously hoped. Be interesting to see what the England bowlers can get out of that turf: not one for Monty this time by the look of it.
Yeah, should be a wicket that suits the seamers. If they can scrape another 30 runs from the tail first thing tomorrow (to get past 300), I'll be reasonably happy as it's a pitch you could bowl a team out on for around 200 if the overhead conditions are right.....

And they didn't make a very good job of it when they did..... Jimmy had one of those days where pretty much everything he did went right - it's not often someone puts together test best performances with both bat and ball on the same day 
At this rate he could go on and get 7 or 8 wickets, whilst the Kiwis will do well to avoid the follow on and a thumping inside 4 days....

Well, the commentators spent a chunk of time telling us how much better at the faster forms of the game the New Zealanders are last night, followed by another chunk eating words.
The loss of Oram to an injury bit deep into their batting, and their bowling was weakish. Losing the toss was the other problem: NZ are always happier chasing a known total than setting a target. On the English side, the bowling was tight and on the spot, and Ian Bell, who couldn't buy a run in the test series, carried his bat with grace and skill like a completely different man.
I hate the kit: they've swopped whites so loose they look like extras on Holby City for 20/20 outfits best suited to flipping burgers. But I can forgive naff kit if we win matches.

They actually looked pretty good today (for once - their recent 50-over form has been patchy to say the least). Great knock from K.P, some good support from Collingwood, Shah & Bell and a solid showing in the field. The Kiwis definitely missed Oram, and once Broad got McCullum to hole out they never looked like getting anywhere near 300. I suspect they'll be glad when they can get this tour done and head for Heathrow, as nothing's gone right for them at all.....
