How ENT should have ended . . .

Navboyry

Ensign
Newbie
If when Capt Archer steps to the podium, he leaps

suddenly he's the pitcher at a baseball game "Oh boy. . ."

With a two-hour finale in 2008... this month actually, given 7 seasons.

Arbitrarily... say Wednesday the 27th at 8pm.

It shoulda ended with the beginning of the Romulan Wars, and the destruction of the Enterprise...A warp core breach would've been a more fitting end for Trip...If that's what they wanted to do...Maybe a scene from a few years later, with Archer signing the Federation charter, like the one we never got to see in TATV...*cringes*

As for an exact date, I bet it wouldn't have gone past this upcoming week...

I think they missed the boat in that ep where Daniels brought Archer back to the night before everything started. They should've worked an "Oh boy" into the script right then.

Any way would have been better the how it did. TATV is the worst episode ever in Star Trek. I do wish it would have lasted atleast another couple of seasons. Seen the signing of the Federation, and so forth.

Ha, ha, ha... I supposed Dean Stockwell and "Ziggy" is involved somehow, like I didn't get your "Quantum Leap" reference 7 years ago! :)

A Quantum Leap ending would have gone down in the history books with the Newhart finale.

It would have screwed with canon like nobody's business, but it would have also been wonderful on about nineteen levels.

Oh how I wish that was the case. It is hard to believe Enterprise ended three years ago today. :( I liked Enterprise a lot, but always thought "something" was missing. The 4th year was the absolute best, the 1st year second best. It had a great premise but a hit and miss execution.

At least after just under a year, we get another Star Trek! :)
