As great as rolling six dice and trying to come up with specific combinations is, I'm speaking of Zero Punctuation reviewist Yahtzee for The Escapist.

His reviews always leave me in sitiches and this one is no different.

The part that made me laugh at the end of that linked review is when he talked about the consoles.

"The Wii is an excitable little yappy bastard good with children but a little exhausting, the PS3 is the big, dependable, black monster, slow but lovingly bringing you your slippers every morning and (my favorite part) the 360 is good ol' rounder that only occasionaly pisses itself and dies."

I love Super Smash Bros Brawl. I have an incredible amount of fun with it and so do most of my friends, but I still found it highly entertaining hearing him trash the hell out of it. And quite frankly, he's right about a few things. They just don't hurt my enjoyment of the game enough to care about them. The fact that so many idiotic fanboys feel the need to mail him to tell him how horrible he is becuase he didn't agree with them about a game are morons. Honestly. Have they seen any of Yahtzee's reviews? He trashes just about every game he plays (Portal excepted) and it's damn hilarious! He's beaten up on several games that were really downright great games and it's fine becuase he was trying to entertain us. Some fanboys are just so stupid that they take any kind of criticism personally. It drives me nuts. Thank you so much Yahtzee for putting those stupid fanboys in their places.

You know, since it's third party and it's not like Rock Star North pumps out a lot of games, I'm not sure if there are true fanboys in the Nintendo/MS/Sony sense.
Maybe if it was console exclusive, like MGS4 or FF13... but since it's not... I just can't imagine anyone working themselves to a lather about it.

Now, if he says the 360 version is better than the PS3 version...

A mate of mine pointed out that internet retards are perhaps easy targets, but who cares. Yahtzee is a genius, and I don't mean it in the flippant, overused sense of the word.

Can't wait for his GTA IV review. As much as I'm loving the game it'll be refreshing to read a review that doesn't serve the simple purpose of fellating Rockstar North for ten minutes. Honestly, the dozens of perfect (or near perfect) scores it's been getting are fucking ridiculous.
