Was Robert Duncan McNeill given a hairpiece at the start of Season 4?

Re: Was Robert Duncan McNeill given a hairpiece at the start of Season

Because this thread is worthless without pics, I present...

Scorpion Part 1 Tom Paris

and

Scorpion Part 2 Tom Paris

Now here in season 7, I can see change...a little thinning and some blond highlites...

I don't see much of a difference. But then...whoa...by the end of season 7, I guess the stress of the series ending and him having no job really took its toll on poor RDM...

what gut? he gained a little weight in the 4th season (you can see it in Vis a Vis) ...

The last scene in Waking Moments where they're all in the mess hall made me . I had to go back and watch it again to confirm what I saw. Come to think of it, they all looked like they'd had a few donuts too many (except Kim), but Tom was the shocker. I guess that based on his character, the handsome charmer, I just assumed nice pecs and a 6-pack and hadn't really looked before.

Also, in Alice, when he moves you can tell they made that silver costume baggy for a reason. How much better would it have been if they could have given him a Seven-esque suit? It's just such a waste for a man who looked like he might have lived up to the Tom character with a little weight lifting. But I'll take your word for it that he lost the weight later, good for him.

i can't speak for all guys, but most of my guy friends who are in longterm relationships or have gotten married have put on a little weight, including me.

Ah, the old bait and switch. ;) Do people really get an S.O. and get chubby? That seems to be the stereotype, but I think it depends on the person. Tom though, he was half of what was arguably the most important relationship of the later seasons, and he was in it in with a beautiful woman. In that situation, chubbiness isn't the way to go.

It does happen it has to do with nesting, or some such nonsense.

Re: Was Robert Duncan McNeill given a hairpiece at the start of Season

I always wondered that about the future in general, weither he combed foward or got a partial peice of whatever else, regardless of that...shoudln't they ALL have had them?
I mean we can limit and control baldness TODAY, surely we would have cured it by the 24th century? or maybe they become less vain as they evolve and just don't give a crap? I assume if there was a cure available any male would take it tho.

Re: Was Robert Duncan McNeill given a hairpiece at the start of Season

Yeah, but, Bobby P. is one of those sexy bald peeps.

Re: Was Robert Duncan McNeill given a hairpiece at the start of Season

Yeah, the bald guys did look good as bald guys. Let's see... we've got the EMH, Picard, Sisko... is that it?

I disagree with your observations

and he did wear something skintight (thank you Voyager gods) in the 7th season

Re: Was Robert Duncan McNeill given a hairpiece at the start of Season

I forgot how much I liked the "Drive" uniforms. I think they looked better than anything else the 24c people wore.

yeah, if I was skinnier I'd make myself a uniform like that to wear to conventions

Re: Was Robert Duncan McNeill given a hairpiece at the start of Season

Well, the thing of it is, it actually looks like a uniform and not pajamas.

And what does being skinny have to do with anything? :wtf:
