oh ya next month ends or was it begins this years daylight saving time
Ends. In Ontario we go back to standard time (
) on November 1.oh ya next month ends or was it begins this years daylight saving time
) on November 1.I hadn't heard of us trying it before, but I looked into it, and you are absolutely correct! During World War II, Canada adopted permanent daylight time as a wartime measure. We removed it at the end of the war, although it sounds like that was just a planned ending of the policy because it was no longer "needed", not because of any great backlash.
And I don't even think it's been the only instance, as I've heard of something like it happened in the 70's. possibly.
I would like sunsets to be later rather than earlier. The later the better.oh ya the wwe hall of famer donnie j trump did mention day light saving time today when he was talking to the press
or should i say he mentioned about how most people wants sunsets to be at like 7 pm and 8 pm and not around at like between 4 pm and 6 pm
One of the complaints about permanent daylight time is that we’d be getting up in the dark in the winter. Many Canadians already get up in the dark in the winter. You can drive to work in the morning in the dark, and then drive home at the end of the day also in the dark. So I wonder if permanent daylight time is more popular in Canada than the US, because that’s already part of our usual winter experience? (Of course, the northern states would be in a similar boat to us.)
I do agree that some of the northern states like Minnesota would inherit some of that too.If Daylight Saving Time were made permanent, the sun could rise after 8 a.m. in several major U.S. cities during the winter months.
If Tom Cotton were putting Arkansas first, he would give them an extra hour of daylight and, more importantly, they wouldn’t have to run all over their houses, farms, work places, and everywhere else, twice a year, having to change their Clocks, and often forgetting to do so.
This is Trump we're talking about, he doesn't know anything. He knows that this won’t magically create an “extra” hour of daylight, right?
Of course, Trump, being Trump, frames the argument in the dumbest way possible:
"We need to focus on our Florida residents. And focus on, in this case, Florida homeowners, particularly our homesteaded homeowners, and we need to focus the relief there," DeSantis said at a news conference last year defending his call for lower property taxes instead of a sales tax cut.
"I want Canadian tourists and Brazilian tourists subsidizing the state and making it so Florida residents pay less taxes. I don't want to give Canadians a tax cut."
Yesare we still gonna have to change the time next month
are we still gonna have to change the time next month

)I voted to continue observing DST. As others mentioned, we tried it before and everyone hated it. People think they want more daylight at the end of the day. But there have been several studies that prove we need sunlight in the morning because it sets our circadian rhythms. And without that it can cause difficulty sleeping and moodiness. So if we end up ditching DST and fixing it to permeant daylight savings, we're just going to end up with crankier sleep deprived people. Like life doesn't suck enough already.
