I don't know, the end scene in The Marvels with Kamala meeting Kate seemed like a way to propel those characters forward.

That's not propelling their story forward, it's just having them meet.

And even if the intent behind things like Sharon continuing her role as the Power Broker even after being pardoned and let back into the US, Jake Lockley killing Harrow, G'iah joining MI6, Kamala introducing herself to Kate, and Riri making a deal with Mephisto was in fact to 'plant seeds', the fact that said 'seeds' were 'planted' doesn't mean that they actually have to - or were ever planned to - 'take root'.

Granted some of those post credit scenes in the movies haven't really played out like maybe they wanted at the time. Like I doubt we will be seeing Hercules anytime soon.

Marvel probably has many projects that have not yet been announced, are in development, or have been canceled without being announced. It wouldn’t make sense to plant such a seed without any planned project. Moreover, Marvel is a company that produces sequels to its films even years later.

They certainly had plenty of ideas, but Marvel does have a history of including teasers without having a solid plan in place. Plenty of the old movie teasers have been completely contradicted or ignored despite being put on screen, and some of the ones that did get followed up on very clearly wound up being part of a completely different project than what was originally intended. Mac Gargan certainly wasn't teased in Homecoming with the idea of not actually using him until the third sequel ten years later.

At the end of the day, Marvel's whole setup is a lot less planned out than most people think. They try to aim things in certain directions but they're very fluid about exactly what steps they might take to get there and have no problem or ignoring or retconning away things that pointed in a different direction than they ultimately chose to go.

But that's also the reason why it's not at all crazy to think they could go back to some of these older shows, because what is true of the teasers is just as true of the overall project schedule, and they have plenty of history of bringing back older stuff people expected them to never bring back. Plus, doing more stuff with Kate Bishop, etc, in no way requires them to bring back 'Hawkeye season 2' or whatever. They can just make a sequel series, like they've already done twice in the wake of WandaVision (and no one originally expected that to happen, either).

Speaking for myself, at one point I never expected to see any of the other characters from The Incredible Hulk movie to ever come back, but now we've gotten them all back.

The Incredible Hulk wasn't explicitly designed to be a self-contained one-off story, though, so this says more about you than it does about anything else.

Well, most of them. Banner/Hulk, Betty, Thunderbolt, Blonsky/Abomination, Sterns. They never brought back Leonard Samson or any of the minor characters (unless you count Stan Lee's cameo).

I think their plans for the X Men has changed some of their ideas and also some things simply were not popular enough to do more with. I also believe we have some characters who basically in what I call a holding pattern until they see how well people like them in the next Avengers movie.

Those would be Ant Man,The Fantastic Four,Shang-Chi, Sam Wilson as Captain America, The only characters they know for sure about that they want to do more with is Spider-Man, the new cast of X-Men, The new Black Panther and Yelena. Also Kate Bishop and Ms Marvel and Punisher provided they find a good role for them.

Legendary Characters like Thor,Steve Rogers,Hulk and Iron Man are in the break glass and use only if needed. Not sure what they are thinking about with Doctor Strange. Seems weird it took so long for a second movie due to how popular he is but it also doesn't look like they even wanted him for the Avengers movies so I don't know. Same with Deadpool.

its still crazy to me in my opinion how the avengers 5 aka avengers doomsday will be like the 1st mcu movie to have many big super heroes groups in a mcu movie

I really dont get why people think that Marvel Studios/Television is going to suddenly announce continuations of Limited Series years after said Limited Series were completed.

Because people keep bringing it up, and both Renner and Marvel have always left thing open to doing more.
Hell Renner even recently said that they had specifically discussed doing it, but at the time he turned them down because they were going to try to pay him less than what he got for Season 1. So despite what you might think, they are clearly open to doing more.

To paraphrase Mahershala Ali, if Marvel Studios wanted to make more seasons of Hawkeye et al., they would have made them.

They could still do it if they wanted to. It doesn't really matter how many years have passed since the first season came out. There are British shows like *The Night Manager* and *Happy Valley* that released follow-up seasons seven or eight years after the first or second season. We can't say for sure that the same thing wouldn't be possible in Hollywood—or rather, with Marvel's TV projects.

As much as I enjoyed stuff like WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Echo, Moon Knght, Secret Invasion, and Ironheart, those projects were not designed to propel their featured characters into anything else, narratively, nor were they expressly designed to be expanded upon.

Except that's not remotely true. Feige said from the onset of the TV series post-Endgame that their intention was to weave back and forth from TV series to film. While the level of success in that regard is certainly up for debate but to say that this model wasn't intended is outright wrong.
