They're not, they're the same characters we saw in the original Netflix seasons. It's just that they reflected the real world time gap, so they're lives have changed since we saw them last.

I think this idea comes about because of a legal dodge that Disney pulls:

“It’s an old Disney scam where they slightly rename a series to reset contract terms back to first season,” DeKnight wrote on X/Twitter. “Needs to be addressed by all the guilds/unions and crushed!”

“From what I understand, I’m not going to see a penny from ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ because they added the ‘Born Again’ and can claim it’s a completely different show,” he explained. “You know, with the exact same two lead actors (who I love!) playing Daredevil and Fisk.”

I do think they need to find her edge though if we are going to see her some more. Being a suburban mom is not exactly what I think people want to see. I think they want season 1 of the Netflix show were she is emotionally damaged, sarcastic and angry and drinking hard.
That is the direction her character went in the comics, though.

then what if in daredevil born again they have jessica jones luke cage iron fist and daredevil meeting each other for the 1st time and have never meeting each other before

I think it would be better if Jessica Jones and the others made a new Defenders series instead of doing separate projects. Anyway, I think Marvel TV will be making new projects for their street-level characters and announcing them at NYC.

i can imagine a disney mcu verison of the defenders tv series where they encounter other disney mcu street level heroes like ant mans daughter the female hawkeye she hulk and ms marvel

@camdudetenger2018 :

I told you before, you can use the +Quote option to quote several posts at once, as I'm demonstrating with this post. You don't need to have a seperate post for every single quote. And I know you read the post where I told you that, because you gave it a Like. Doing it in seperate posts is a form of Spamming, and it is against the rules, so cut it out! Next time earns you a proper Warning.

There's an image that might have been created with AI. It could be real, like the Jean Grey and Punisher photo that was leaked online before Spider-Man: BND was released, which was initially thought to be AI but turned out to be real. But even if it's real, it could have been AI-edited.

I asked Chatgbt Fox about the budgets and box office success of their X-Men films, and now I understand more clearly why they are trying to shoot the new X-Men film with lower budgets compared to previous MCU films:

X-Men (2000): $75 million budget, $296.9 million worldwide box office.
X2: X-Men United (2003): $125 million budget, $406.3 million worldwide box office.
X-Men: The Last Stand (2006): $210 million budget, $459.3 million worldwide box office.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009): $150 million budget, $374.8 million worldwide box office.
X-Men: First Class (2011): $160 million budget, $355.4 million worldwide box office.
Wolverine (2013): $115 million budget, $416.5 million worldwide box office revenue.
X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014): $200 million budget, $747.9 million worldwide box office revenue.
Deadpool (2016): $58 million budget, $781.9 million worldwide box office revenue.
X-Men: Apocalypse Now (2016): $178 million budget, $542.5 million worldwide box office revenue.
Logan (2017): $127 million budget, $614.2 million worldwide box office revenue.
Deadpool 2 (2018): $110 million budget, $786.4 million worldwide box office revenue.
The Black Phoenix (2019): $200 million budget, $246.4 million worldwide box office revenue. The New Mutants (2020): $67 million budget, $47.5 million worldwide box office revenue.

Although the first few episodes were initially planned and filmed that way, during the writers' and actors' strikes in 2023, they changed their minds and decided to make the show a continuation of Netflix shows. Then, they reshot a new first episode and released the first four episodes as episodes 2, 3, 4, and 5. Episodes 6, 7, and 8 were filmed later during the reshoots. The initial plan was for an 18-episode season in the procedural drama genre.
The way I understood it was that it was always intended as a continuation of the Netflix seasons, they just originally were going to keep the callbacks to a minimum, but then when they went back they added more explicit connections.

So that would explain why Disney is constantly adding different titles to their shows after a season or two. I always thought that was kind of weird.

Except that isn't gong to happen since we have already seen that Matt, Jessica, and Luke know each other, and it was pretty clear from the first two seasons that this is very much a continuation of the Netflix seasons, where the characters all knew each other, and pretty much everybody involved with the show behind the scenes has talked about how it's a continuation of the Netflix seasons.
I guess there's a chance they could do a massive retcon and separate it out from the Netflix seasons, but I don't see any reason to think that they would. And I really don't see what they would get out of doing that besides upsetting the fans, so I doubt very much that they would. I guess maybe some kind of a rights issue could pop up, but I'm pretty sure all of the rights stuff has been worked out pretty thoroughly, so again that seems pretty unlikely.
I think at this point they only way something like that would probably happen is if they just did a completely from scratch reboot, but given the success of Born Again that also seems unlikely.

No, that wasn't the case. Initially, they were going to use two actors from the Netflix show to play the same characters in different versions. That changed during the strike. This must have been discussed many times here. If it was, you must have forgotten?
