The sheer entitlement beyond the narc personality, and ego have always been what turned me off of Peters. This man's delusions alone could be a small novella. The lack of disregard for the IP OWNERS is also glaring here and always has been. I hope CBS/Paramount shut them down completely for once and for all. Enough is enough.
This is the biggest tragedy is the pure sense of entitlement. If people came in and started using Alec's property without permission he'd probably be upset.

But, because he's a fan there's that entitled sense of getting to do whatever. But, it's not your property.

Since Alec has no legal right to Axanar, I do wish someone with talent would come along and make a Star Trek: Axanar fan film.

Someone with something to say other than fapping themselves raw over Garth.

Probably not in general terms, but there's over 500 dick-slurping comments on that latest video. Enough to make life slightly annoying for someone trying to "steal Alec Peters' material!!"

That would be the ultimate out come out of all this. Someone comes along with a better script---an actual idea---rather than just a talking heads post event perspective documentary where everyone pats themselves on the back.

I think the other thing about Axanar...is that simply too much time has passed---again due to Alec's own hijinks, greed, and hubris---that a lot of people that were originally invested and interested in this concept (as I was) have moved on---there's no longer a "need" for whatever this was going to be.

Alec's contention that it is "better" is also always been silly and just a ego trigger and something for the hard core Secret Hideout haters to lynch onto.

If we had ever seen an actual---STORY out of this like I'm guessing Burnett probably wanted to turn it into---then MAYBE it would have taken off as well as if Alec hadn't chosen right from the start to have this act as his own personal piggy bank.

I saw that. What an asinine thing to post.

Here it is in case one wants to shake their head…

He was soliciting IMDB ratings (10s, please) for the new video on the Axanar email list. With all the time that's passed, I'm not sure the email list is necessarily full of the kind of review-bombing (review-seeding?) superfans that he needs.

It is a crazy video that both attacks star trek and cbs and ends with "you know where to find me" as if he thinks they are going to hire him. I think he may really believe the ellison people are going to come begging him to go make star trek for them.

I don't know what his background is, but Alec comes off as one of those guys who tried to make it in Hollywood, and lasted like a year before nobody wanted to work with him. So now he tries to make his own content that is the bestest and biggest than anyone else can do.

I mean it goes without saying he’s not very bright. But even less so when he’s attacking the attorneys that Paramount (and by extension, Skydance) is working with to defend their IP against people like him who are exploiting it. Not a very shrewd way about trying to get a job. Plus, he’s 65. Not trying to be ageist here, but if Kurtzman really is gone by the end of the month (in this case I’m not sure no news is good news, but we’ll see), they’re going to find people to run the franchise that are going to write to attract younger people, not those near or past retirement.

And it took him 10 years to make 20 minutes so for a 1 hour pilot we're looking at 30 years when he's 95. That is slow even by netflix standards.

I don't even have to watch that video to know what it was going to contain! LOL. Holy shit...sheer delusion. Yes they most certainly DO know where to find you Alec, and nothing is going to change from their end---as long as you keep poking them!
