Spoilers La'An - what's going to happen?

I'm adding a spoiler tag at the time of starting this thread (screening week of s4 e01) as there is minor detail in the episode, but more will start to pop up no doubt.

I've seen this question here and there in various threads and on SM.

But seriously - what do you all think is going to happen to La'An between now and the end of 5.06?

Haven't seen 4x01 yet but I've thought for a few years now that she'll join the time police and disappear into that life. Will people's memories of her be wiped? Maybe.

Plausible, but I believe her name's on the wall at the Academy, so they won't completely disappear her.

Personally, I'd like to think that her fate is that she, Ortegas, M'Benga and Pelia go off with Una when she get promoted.

Is this likely to happen? Probably not, but it's what I'd like to see.

Having just watched “Tomorrow…”, a little bit ago, I agree. Seems like the best way to move the character forward.

Or have her join the Aegis group (Gary Seven).

Not a bad solution, really. Una takes command of a ship with La'an promoted to LCDR and first officer. Ortegas continues to fly the ship as the helm/nav department head. I don't really care what happens to Pelia. One of the most annoying characters ever put to screen. Love the actress, though.

M'Benga is shown on the Enterprise in TOS, he is just not CMO. SNW presents several reasons why he would be demoted.
