England choked that game. Prevent defense sucks.
Tuchel had the right gameplan early on but then deciding to sit back and defend a 1-0 lead against a team like Argentina was such an insane decision. They have too much attacking talent and, oh, probably the best player to ever play the game. I feel bad for England fans but Tuchel blew it for them.
That being said, I do think both of these teams were basically playing for the right to lose to Spain.

I probably wouldn't have cared but the Falklands related flag at draped over the team at the end was awful.

3rd place play off? Do we really care who wins that? Guess I want England to win but not really bothered.
It's just work at this point to make money, nobody cares about who's 3rd place.
Any fine will be tiny and no real deterrent. I wonder if the likes of Martinez and Mac Allister will get increased stick from the terraces next season?
Not sure I'll even watch the final England game to be honest. They should scrap it at some point and a weird facet of international knock out tournaments when it isn't in national tournaments. not sure any team really wants it to exist as a game.

Used to be one in Euros but not for decades now.
Should just go home, if they feel they have to give each team a rank then just base it on overall performance in the tournament.
On the Falklands thing.
I don't know what deterrent they could use, and really considering FIFA ridiculous peace prize award to Trump, they really have set a precedent in awarding it.

Heard on Sports Radio this evening that the English Football coach will remain in charge until 2028.
