For whatever it is worth - and given today’s penchant for disregarding the onscreen graphics in Day of the Dove, I assume very little- mine was based on Matt Jefferies’ own cross section, with the added detailing derived from the descriptions for each deck given in the TOS episodes and those given in TMoST.
Like I said… not that anyone cares anymore. It simply is what it is. A 947’ long ship given scaling to match, with the hangar deck imported from Matt Jefferies’ Phase II cross section.

Animarchy has a whole bunch of Azure Lane themed videos on warships. I stopped following anime' intently after 2005, so his videos were when I first learned about AL. Thing is, his stuff is witty and historically / technically accurate, so it's easy to forgive the occasional fanservice which has gone away entirely in 2026 AFAIK.
I've yet to sit down and watch AL. It sounds like Panzer School Girls to me.

If the size is relevant to the story then I'm all about it showing up. Other than that, your art and scaling and such is more interesting than ruminating over what wasn't stated on screen. And statements on screen carry more weight because of the use of rubber ducks in graphics.

an anthropomorphic representation of the USS Enterprise, NCC-1701 (no bloody a, b, c, or d!) as a young woman. she had a bridge dome hat, deflector/sensor dish as a parasol, but her "nacelles" are out (although it's actually her stockings that are styled after the warp nacelles), which, when i opened my trek fanart thread last year and asked about boundaries and limits, i was informed was not allowed, and so i cannot post it in response to darren's post and salt umpire's Azure Lane Enterprise, which was the only reason i brought it upUhm…what?
It's a thing. I'm not sure what the name of the art form is, but it's a Japanese thing where a vessel is represented as a cute anime girl with bits and pieces of the ship growing out of her. The best I can find on Google is "Moe Anthropomorphism." The example given is here (SFW) :
