I'm so old I don't remember.That would be a great joke but I doubt they would do it on the grounds that only us old people even remember their was a Clueless tv show.
For 2 years, people Twitter have been saying this project is unnecessary and that Reese Witherspoon should cast her own daughter instead. Don’t people get tired of saying the same things over and over again? By the way, there’s nothing but hate on Twitter anymore. Back then, shows like this used to be anticipated with excitement.

I thought it was pretty good, especially the lead actress. Though it was weird how they kept re-casting her Dad and the actors never seemed remotely similar to their predecessors (or the film version).
I haven’t watched the movie, and this is actually the first time I’ve heard of the show. But with a quick search online, I found out that the lead actress played the mother of the brothers in Prime Video’s popular show The Summer I Turned Pretty.
I’ve only seen the actress in The Summer I Turned Pretty too.
She has mostly appeared in TV series. I don’t think being in a British show really counts as a career decline.
Might be my imagination but I often feel that for an American actor it is. It’s not quite appearing in pantomime (and Peep Show was brilliant) but I sort of imagine it pays less than American tv (I could be entirely wrong, of course).
