Stephen Amell posts a 15 second teaser for Baywatch.

So, I see Escape from New York isn't too far from the mark then! To be fair, I doubt they'd do that to Paddington, as it's supposed to be a set of family friendly movies after-all. But seeing that same director attached to it is amusing.

Paddington 4 might be a bit sweary, seeing as it’s going to be written by the team behind The Thick of It and Veep

Paddington joins Whitehall and his innocence becomes popular for not being jaded and always cussing like his fellow politicians. Also expect a big role from Peter Capaldi as Mr. Curry.

Paddington is elected Prime Minister and his first speech is "My Aunt Lucy once told me. If we're kind and polite, the world will be right." That is why I will do everything I can to see ever man, women and child has free access to marmalade sandwiches. "

Which quickly turns into a Pee Wee style film where he goes on a cross-country journey to get it back.

"Nobody takes my marmalade sandwhiches and lives!!"

I dunno, would be fun to perhaps see him join MI5. "For Marmalade and Country!" You can just hear it now, "The Spy Who Loved Marmalade". And Goldfinger has nothing on "Sticky Fingers!" And given that he already had tea and Marmalade with the Queen, it becomes perflectly plausible for King Charles to personally give him his mission.

I posted about a new Sherlock Holmes series a few pages back, now Moriarty is getting his own tv show (sadly not the Andrew Scott version, despite the cover photo):

Finally a new Star Trek! What will Moriarty do now that he and his romantic partner have been living in a holodeck simulation for decades!

Cool. Glad to hear it wasn't a shit-show in the making. Or maybe it was, the producers saw the groundswell of bad vibes over it and told both Helen and Tom to cool their fucking jets and start to act like professionals again instead of a pair of petulant divas.

"Things are being worked through creatively". That's one thick slice of bullshit there, counsel...

Sarah Snook to star in a limited-series remake of The Birds.
Was about to say messing with Hitchcock movies can be dicey but then remembered how much I loved 'Bates Motel." Add that with the fact I also love Sarah Snook and I think we might have a good show.
