2026 Comics Thread

The second picture seems to show the main character from the first miniseries 20 years later.
 
OK cool.
After I finished up Asylum, I started borrowed Fantastic Four Vol. 2: Prime Elements written by Johnathan Hickman, with art by Dale Eaglesham from Hoopla and started reading it.

Ooooh, Cover B of the first issue features an Andorian! The previous mini-series had some great alternative cover art, making it hard to choose -- and sometimes I bought both.

Requoring Therin from the LD forum as I know this got brought up here -

It was the art in Issue #1 that made me not continue with Red Shirts, rather than the plot.

Now we have a comment on Lower Decks, I wonder if Last Starship will be allowed to continue to #12 and then quietly cancelled ahead of Legacy and Zero Point.

Well, that is unfortunate, but at least it’s good to know for sure. Although I think I preferred the writing before Ryan North left, LD was still one of my favourite series out of all the recent ones.

Thank you to you and Therin for letting us know.

Yeah, I'm disappointed to hear about Lower Decks, and I do agree about writing. It was definitely better under Ryan North, although this last story arc was almost back up to his quality.

Yeah, I felt it went klunk immediately after North left, and dropped it.
