Fallout: The Television Series

WestWorld was consistently plotted all the way through, especially since they stopped in the middle of production to map out the entire story until its end. The 'twisty mystery' of it all was the point.

The Nolans don't have any creative input on Fallout, though; they're merely Executive Producing, with an occasional stint in the Director's Chair.

Also, the things that I read that killed my enthusiasm start a couple of episodes beyond where I currently am in Season 1 (I just finished Episode 4).
When you say researching, do you mean the video game lore/details or just spoilers for the show?

I was doing research on the show specifically and ended up more or less reading synopses for the remainder of Season 1 (Episodes 5-8) and all of Season 2, and what the show becomes is not something I'm all that interested in or that makes any narrative sense based on what it starts out as.

And yet the story lost its "Oomph" after Season 1. It should've just been a 1 season miniseries and left it at that.

Not really.

Season 4 was 'peak' storytelling, and it still frustrates me that the series fell victim to a Merger that's now been invalidated through a second Merger.
