Fallout: The Television Series

Walton Goggins is one of those actors where after Fallout, I checked out his IMDB and was all "holy shit, he was in that too?" when I saw his other credits.
Yea. He was a prolific 'character actor', he reminded me a lot of William Fichtner who was a character actor in a lot of things and then got the lead in the short-lived Invasion (the ABC one from like 2005, not the Apple TV one) and then he was a regular on Prison Break for several years as an FBI agent.

I think it's because of Fallout that I'm now seeing him in so many Walmart and GoDaddy commercials. He's very much in demand at the moment.

Yeah, I know he was pretty he was pretty popular when he did Justified, but Fallout has managed to have a deeper impact that on it did.
I haven't seen anything that people like Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, and Kyle McLaughlin have been in.
I hadn't even heard of Ella Purnell before Fallout, but I'd seen most of the other big name cast members in at least one or two things.
I didn't realize until I just looked her up that Leslie Uggams, who plays Betty was Blind Al in the Deadpool movies. I knew I recognized her name and had seen in other stuff, I just didn't realize that was some of them.
For me the biggest draws were Goggins, Machlachlan, and Michael Emmerson.
Just so no one forgets, Purnell voices Gwen in Star Trek: Prodigy.
I did not know that.

I was unfamiliar with Purnell for the most part. Though she's had parts in films I've seen. Mostly as younger versions of the lead character.

Purnell was also in Arcane (Netflix). I didn't like the second season very much, but I did enjoy the first and she was great in it as Jinx.

Also, you might not recognize him but Walton Goggins was one of the "Evil Students" in "The Next Karate Kid" back in 1994.

I didn't see much of The Karate Kid films after the first one (Though have seen all of Cobra Kai)

It looks like the first time I might have seen Goggins was in unnamed roles in Wing Commander 4 or JAG. Since then, mostly one-off bits or film roles (A fair few of those) until Six.
(Knew he was in The Shield - but never saw that either)

I have a hard time stopping myself from researching the things that I'm watching, and thus pretty much Spoiled myself on the entirety of the rest of the show, and am unfortunately now not sure if I actually want to keep watching because what I read feels like they just threw a bunch of nonsense at a wall to see if it'd stick.

It kinda felt that was in Season 2. Season 1 seemed a lot more focused. I would recommend sticking it with, but as a fan of the show (And haven't played the game) I was expecting better for that whole New Vegas storyline being as hyped as it was from other fans.

This is typical of the Nolans, a good first season of a show but then it starts to meander afterwards. It happened with Westworld as well.

WestWorld was consistently plotted all the way through, especially since they stopped in the middle of production to map out the entire story until its end. The 'twisty mystery' of it all was the point.

The Nolans don't have any creative input on Fallout, though; they're merely Executive Producing, with an occasional stint in the Director's Chair.

Also, the things that I read that killed my enthusiasm start a couple of episodes beyond where I currently am in Season 1 (I just finished Episode 4).

And yet the story lost its "Oomph" after Season 1. It should've just been a 1 season miniseries and left it at that.
