It's "AI" deepfakes. The technology has gotten very convincing. And the people who make these fake trailers try to pass them off as real, hiding the fact that they're fake in the fine print that most people don't read. I gather that YouTube has been cracking down on them, but apparently not hard enough.

This one appears to adhere to the YouTube guidelines. It's the ones that don't even include the disclaimer and pass themselves off as real that are getting cracked down on.

The video is titled "Full Trailer | Marvel Studios." If you put a lie up front where everyone can see it and hide the truth down at the bottom where hardly anyone will bother to look, it's still deliberate deception. The fact that that doesn't violate the guidelines is exactly what I meant when I said YouTube isn't cracking down hard enough.
 
exactly. I view many youtube video daily. Who on earth would bother read the fine print per video? the time wasted on reading the fineprint, you can use that time to watch another video. i have seen AI generated video at Facebook, you can easily tell those are animated type AI generated. This one, either it's cut / paste from other Avengers video, or the rendering is too good. It must have take a lot of time in it

I've seen fake AI generated car promotion video from youtube, say the next 2026 Honda is going to come w/ blah blah blah features, and those are just clip bait.

but when we search under Avenger trailer and this comes up, by itself it's deception. It shouldn't be call a trailer if it's total AI generated

Always first go to the comment section. Someone will mention if it is fake and at that point you don't even need to bother watching the fake trailer.

Damn, that really sucks if it's true. I wonder if we'll ever get the full story of why it was so hard to get the movie made and if it was just a case of "not being able to crack the story."

This will be a real test of how much Mahershala Ali loves the character if he sticks around for whatever form the character's appearance will take.
