Spurred on by this thread for the TV series
"Andromeda", I decided to give this show a whirl:

I think I saw a little of it back in the day when it originally aired, but recall pretty much nothing, but do recall the bizarre and catchy theme music.
"Premiere" (the pilot)
While
"Andromeda" had it's flaws in the pilot, which didn't really get straight until like the fifth episode, for me, this pilot is riddled with flaws out the alien ass.
There's nowhere near the thought into the tech as there was on the other show, including to dumb things like simply ripping out wires. Maybe next they'll bang something to get it to work.
Seems like some things are bizarre for bizarre's sake, which doesn't create interest.
So far, none of the characters have screen presance, they'll all just as much there as the next one, including puppets vs. people.
I just yawn every time I hear somebody talking about themselves. Tyr they are not.
Weird words for everything, but sudden when the word "Degrees" needs to be said, that works.
The built to the launch was rushed and felt like an outline that was not fleshed out.
That's a gaint sword. Use it? NAH!
