You're assuming I didn't find the other major party candidate to be equally horrible, just in different ways.

No, I assumed exactly this from your comment, and it’s as catastrophically wrongheaded as it’s possible for a human being to be.
But this is the last I will say on the subject. This is a memorial thread, and Trump shouldn’t get to pollute it with his depravity the way he does everything else.

Damn. That's absolutely horrible. I'm so sorry that they were the ones to find them.
I desperately want to give Billy a hug for the very reason you mentioned.
I watched it live at the time and loved that entire performance, but that ending was especially poignant.

Saturday night Rob and Nick got into an argument at Conan O'Brien's Christmas party and Rob and Michele left early, quickly followed by Nick.
Rob's daughter Romy, who lives nearby, went to check on the couple Sunday morning, discovered the bodies, called Billy and Larry, who called the police and Billy had to identify the bodies.
Nick was arrested and is in jail on $4 million bail awaiting arraignment.

My heart goes out to Romy. I cannot fathom what it's like to find her parents in such a way, especially when she probably already suspected her brother.

Im aware Reiner was very anti trump, and had posted some very strong opinions but regardless Trumps post is probably one of the worst things I've read from someone never mind the POTUS.
if this was the UK and our PM had posted something like this id fully expect calls for, and a subsequent resignation.
I think this time he has gone too far. Many Trump supporters are calling him out on it. He won't apologize though. But at least many are speaking up. Sure Reiner didn't like Trump or at least his policies, he was very outspoken and I'm sure he took some personal jabs at Trump. but Reiner as far as I know has never made light of the death of a someone with opposing views. In fact .....

Son was probably higher than a kite (Nick is [allegedly] a drug addict). It probably had nothing to do with Rob and Michele.
How did he become a drug addict? What drugs?
It feels like to simple a solution to say he did drugs and stabbed them.
I see lots of people doing marijuana, and they're not going around stabbing people.
Charlie Sheen hasn't stabbed his parents, and he's come out that he did a lot of coke. Stephen King has also come out about addictions problems, and he hasn't stabbed anyone.
I'm curious about the behind the scenes motive. The fact that a knife was used is also pretty grim.

If you talk to the modern-day Reefer Madness crowd, they'll tell you marijuana makes people schizophrenic and homicidal. They don't address the question of why this doesn't happen to most people.
