Adventures of Superman is a pure delight, among the character’s very best screen iterations. George Reeves remains probably second only to Christopher Reeve in the pantheon of great Superman performances.
This is exactly the kind of stupid funny nerd shit that made YouTube great in the first place.I saw this on YouTube and it gave me a laugh.
It’s amazing how well it fits.

Maybe it’s based off that movieLooks like Ben Affleck!
Second only to Corenswet.Adventures of Superman is a pure delight, among the character’s very best screen iterations. George Reeves remains probably second only to Christopher Reeve in the pantheon of great Superman performances.
I might disagree with your rankings, and definitely disagree with your silly and showily iconoclastic swipe at Reeve and his “material.” (Ever the contrarian.) But you’re not wrong that Reeves, Reeve, Hoechlin, and Corenswet are the four pillars of live-action Superman greatness.Second only to Corenswet.
Reeve comes in tied with Hoechlin - being generous. But Reeve never had good material.
I don't even lump 1 and 2 together. For me there is Superman, then a looong wait for another good one.Lumping 1 and 2 together with 3 and 4 is definitely a choice.

Yeah. The only Reeve Superman film I'm fond of at this point is Superman: The Movie, and overall it's a mixed bag as a film. I'll watch scenes when it comes up on TV somewhere, but not start-to-finish. I guess the "Superman's first night" sequence is my favorite part.I don't even lump 1 and 2 together. For me there is Superman, then a looong wait for another good one.![]()
Yep, I like Superman and the Mole-Men a lot too.The only good Superman movie from back then was the very first one
I don’t much like Cavill, but this seems needlessly harsh.Where'd they get that dog in the lower left?
