What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

You think Nemesis is worse than Scouts? C'mon now... I can't take a statement like that seriously. I'm not a big Nemesis (or Insurrection) fan by any measure, but at least they tried!

Or is this another one of your "jokes"?

"Chaos is my friends with benefits."
Rachel Garrett, SECTION 31

So we are expected to see the future Enterprise-C captain have THAT kind of dialogue? Much more cringey than Rom.
That was the point where I completely gave up on the S31 movie. Garrett was the one character I was tolerating until then, and that stupid line killed that for me.

I don't watch Scouts so I don't find the need to add it to my Trek list.

Nemesis ruins many characters for me so that's how it has slowly gone down the list and competes with Profit and Lace, Spock's Brain, and Generations because of how it treats characters.

I just love the irony that while we're discussing bad Mirror Universe episodes, that no one has brought up the franchises most recent perennial punching bag, Section 31. Frankly, even that was better than The Emperor's New Cloak. In truth, S31 actually works much better as a Mirror Universe episode than it does as a Starfleet covert ops episode.

Section 31 doesn't exist. It's a nightmare we all had and somehow all shared the same dream.
