No need to stop. They just needed to do a better job at selecting the movies and shows that would define what they would be about after Endgame. They made so many bad calls and choices and even a few good things were punished more for timing than quality. Ms Marvel being a prime example of that. Ms Marvel is a niche character that could work in the way Ant Man worked but you got to make at a time when you got lots of other heavy hitters carrying the load. Also we should already have at least few X-Men movies made.

To much time also trying to prop up the JV squad of characters instead of going with the heavy hitters like the X-Men. She-Hulk also should have been a movie and also more of a action movie than a campy Ally McBeal type of show. Thor should have been given a better 4th movie. Black Panther should have been recast. They should have done a Thanos and Killmonger villain movie, each.

Ms or Captain??

X-Men films were tied up in rights issues until recently.

Ms. Marvel. Kamala Kahn is a great character from a good show that failed to get ratings. Captain Marvel is the opposite. A terrible character from two bad movies, where one of them made tons of money because it was the movie before the Avengers movie.

i still wonder if in the average 5 it will acknowledge doctor von doom from 1960s fantastic four aka earth 1960s looking like tony stark from mcu earth

in other words when the thunderbolts the avengers and there other groups encounters doctor von doom are they gonna say that its tony stark

Liked both of the movies and the character. Not sure why she's "terrible."

It'll be a running gag that nobody mentions it.

I just find the character to have a very boring and bland personality. I like the actor in other stuff I have seen her in, especially "The Room" but I do think she might have been a bad casting choice. The movie has a very weak villain as well. I do like the character in the action scenes. In fact I her scene in "Endgame" when she flies in a destroys the alien ship is one my more favorite action beats from that final battle.

Rogers or to be more exact Chris Evans is most people's favorite.

That does not matter. In universe, Rogers not only passed down the ID to Sam, but Sam more than earned it for all of what was explored in the D+ series. If some (who never understood the evolving message of late 1960s-forward Captain America) cannot accept that because they idealize "blonde-super-soldier-man" then that their sick problem, not Disney's or more importantly, the narrative of the MCU stories.

If he has a few great moments in the movie it gives him a chance to continue on in the role.

"...gives him a chance to continue on in the role."

Are you reading what you're posting? Mackie and his character earned the Cap ID. He does not have to--what you're arguing--"prove" a damn thing to anyone, just as Evans did not need to "prove" himself for some nonexistent, near-subversive standard of who represents that image. Ah, but said near-subversive standard was never applied to Evans, because in the eyes of those looking for "Joe Anytown America Puts His War Boots On", his image was their focus. Clearly, they were completely unaware that the Cap of the comics left that "Joe Anytown America Puts His War Boots On" crap behind in the 60s. As a result, all they see is that moldy image (which is not really a part of the arguably darker, world-weary MCU Rogers) and Sam / Mackie--in their "minds"--does not belong in the role.

They could have stopped at Endgame, but there was more money to be made.

..until the underperformers and historic bombs piled up, derailing Marvel Studios. Now, its all or nothing with this next Avengers arc.

I've always loved Carol Danvers. Ever since her own Ms Marvel and Binary days in the comics. Her first movie was epic. Her second movie, well, it's not the only product that got negatively affected by the pandemic. Shit happens. I still enjoy the movie. Brie Larson is amazing. The hatred for her just comes from the usual fragile man babies who can't cope with strong women.

Yon-Rog and the Supreme Intelligence were good villains.
Bland? Not seeing it.

I don't think any of the comic stuff matter to most people. To many people they have never read any of the comics with Captain America. Captain America will always to them be Chris Evans because they loved him in the role and it does help that all 3 Captain America movies were great and one of them is considered by some to be the best MCU movie of them all.

Sam on the other hand will always be seen as a sidekick. A sidekick they liked but who failed in the one movie made where he was the lead. Even though I liked the tv show I know it creates mix feelings with many and for others I suspect they only watch the movies and never bothered with any of the Disneyplus shows.

What I find interesting is Mackie is a better actor than Evans but Evans is the better Captain America. It's like the perfect role for Evans and I don't know if he will ever be in another good movie again, or least one in which he is the lead. Mackie and funny enough Sebastain Stain who lots of people seem to also think would be a good Captain America, even if he wouldn't, on the other hand are people who I think have possible Emmy's and Oscars in their career futures.

I bet he takes it off all the time in the movies. Heck they could barely ever had Julian MacMahon wear it back in those movies. I doubt they will have Robery Downey Jr always wearing it.
