Since the Bible says that no one can know the time of the Rapture, it cannot happen on any day that someone predicts it will happen. So if we can brainwash 365 crazy people into thinking the Rapture will happen on each day of the year and repeat the process again the next year, we can prevent the Rapture from ever happening.

Don't know why, but late fall the post office delivery times in this neighborhood goes from noonish to the end of the day, so once the time change hits it'll be black outside when they show up, making it pretty easy for porch pirates.

So bored. Had my hours cut this week for some stupid store event.

I was clearing out the "junk room" when I found a cache of old photographs. When I say "old", I mean OLD. I even found my parents' WWII ration cards, complete with attached stamps. Also, family pictures dating back to that time period and beyond. There was a picture of my great-uncle Rufus who died in 1919 from the Spanish flu. Sadly, there were several pictures without names or circumstances, too, that I just tossed. I sat down and started to write names and situations on the backs of the ones I knew, for my kids and grandkids.
