Nope, I already checked every instrumental version of the song on YouTube. The one I'm thinking of has no guitars, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't have any horns or woodwinds either. Just traditional strings.

That happened to me recently. Why does the "low battery" have to start beeping in the middle of the night, why can't it beep during the day when I can actually do something about it?
Yeah...really. During the day I can get somebody to help me. Not so much late at night other'n shoving in earplugs.

That wasn't my case but yeah, I hear you. Not fun.

Never fails. The smoke detector battery will always die late at night, in the room with the highest ceiling, the night before you have an important appointment early in the morning.
I use the combination carbon monoxide, smoke detector with a 10-year battery. I write the date when I activate it, and in less than a year of use, it starts beeping. Then I use my battery operated leaf blower and blow the dust and spider webs out of the detector, that gets the detector to stop beeping for another year.

I didn't think that was an option but...whatever works, I guess.

My current apartment comes with dual smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, one in the bedroom and one in the living room, and it never fails that when one starts beeping low battery, the other one will start beeping as well. So, I have to get up in the middle of the night and try and reset two. What sucks is that they're both screwed into the ceiling studs, so I can't pull them down and replace the batteries that way. I have to stand on a kitchen chair, reach up and reset/replace the batteries that way.
