I watched it. I have no real thoughts on it other than yeah, it was fine. It didn't annoy me the way MOS did. But I didn't fall in love with it either. Just an entertaining 2 hour film that I think will be fairly forgettable in the long run.

What I'd love to see next is a Mr. Terrific film.

by Peacemaker made me laugh a lot. Can't wait to see more of him this summer.

Not surprising in the least.

Now we just need to wait for Kirk55555's review, and maybe one other regular hater I can think of, and we will know just how good this movie is.

I mean I've liked or loved all of James Gunn's previous superhero movies and Peacemaker, and I really like a comic book style Superman and have really wanted it in live action ever since Snyder first cursed us with Man of Steel, so :shrug:I like more stuff then I dislike, but certain people only notice people when they don't agree with them.

As for this Superman film specifically, I'm very excited and want to see it, but I can really only see movies in theaters when other familiy members want to see them (no other transportation and the closest movie theater is far away), and so I'll probably have to wait until it comes out Digitally. Everything i've seen (I've watched trailers but avoided spoilers) makes me think I'll really like it, though.

Plus the exposition explaining how she was drunk was awkward.
My thought was it could be a set up to put her in jeopardy in the future.

I loved that she's in the universe, by the way. Great look. Can't really comment on much else, since it was so brief.

Eve Teschmacher as a genius whistleblower?

Given all the references to the Donner film, I wondered if Gunn just went ahead and combined Perrine's Eve Teschmacher with Stephenson's Lorelei Ambrosia, the genius blonde from Superman III, into a single character.

Loved the Kara cameo. It was one of the few spoilers I stumbled into before seeing the movie, though.

I'd also run across
Kryptonian Parents Giving Bad Advice,
but I only about 50% believed it was legit.

I'm fine with the explanation, but it was just very wordy, and I'd assume the robots familiar with Kryptonian biology wouldn't need to be told that.

Maybe if one of them finished his explanation realizing what he was going to say would make it flow better.
