Congratulations to the fans of these then:
I would expect nothing less for a movie starring Hand Swolelo.
This needs to be emphasized. For every Andor and Rogue One with their dire consequences, I want fun adventures like Solo and Skeleton Crew.
In my head canon the flashbacks of Luthen in the Imperial military happen around the same time as the Battle of Mimban in Solo or it might even be Mimban, just another angle of the same surface operation and this time from Luthen's P.O.V.
Despite it's ending Rogue One is also lots of fun. Don't forget The Mandalorian as well or The Clone Wars or Rebels or The Bad Batch.
I feel like it's gotta be a lot closer to ROTS, based on things like Kleya's age and Luthen's S1 reference about how long he's been a rebel.
What are the known canon wars of suppression the new Empire waged during its first couple of years of existence? The destruction of Kamino's cloning facilities and Tipoca City come to mind, but we know that Luthen's flashback wasn't there.
The episode listing at Star Wars.com does not name the planet where Luthan met Kleya, but it does definitely say that they were together for 17 years.
Oh, so we're talking The Bad Batch period of Imperial history.
