Spoilers Andor - Season 2

There's a new theory that Dedra will survive the next three episodes but end up being transferred to the Death Star, so she'll die soon anyways.

It’s a shame very little know about the Sith connection with the Emperor. That could have done more damage to him.
I don't think it would have to be honest (In the real world where it's strongly suspected certain politicians are involved in neo-hate group sympathies often nothing happens). Plus we really don't know much about the pre-Palpatine Sith in Canon. The oldest work chronologically is High Republic, centuries after the Sith are in hiding. Literally the only work we have is the Acolyte, and the Sith's claim there that they only want freedom from repressive Jedi rules might actually seem attractive to the galaxy (including that Senator who felt the Jedi had too little oversight).

In Legends, quite a few more people did know that Palpatine was a Sith, but as shown as early as Knights of the Old Republic the galaxy saw the Sith and the Jedi as two sides of the same coin. And honestly what do most people know about the Sith anyway? That they wave red lightsabers around and hate Jedi. To the average galactic citizen who's not a Jedi, they might feel bad about it but it's not their problem. Not unlike how certain groups are targeted by corrupt governments and while people are sympathetic, the targeted groups are largely on their own.

I'm pretty sure that Mas Amedda and Sly Moore know the Emperor is a Sith Lord and not only that Vader is also Sith but that he was once the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker. Palpatine's innermost circle on Coruscant is probably aware that their boss is a very special kind of person, and one with immense Force powers.

Qi'ra knows about it by Crimson Reign after ESB and isn't exactly secretive about telling people (she's head of Crimson Dawn by this point). Sly Moore went rogue around the same time and led the Schism Imperial revolt against the Empire, and she also either told people about the Emperor's Sith association and no one cared or she didn't feel it would help bringing it up.

True but I think the Sith are still known throughout their galaxy as the ultimate evil; no matter if most regard them as myth or not. A thousand years isn’t that long. Some species in star Wars may still be alive from that time.

Yoda's species, for instance. Yoda was born just after Darth Bane sent the Sith Order into exile and they vanished from the public stage.

It doesn't help that the canon is contradictory on this. A bunch of people in the Mandalorian seem astonished by Grogu's abilities and act like they've never heard of them before, yet Zorii Bliss is aghast that Poe needs something translated in Sith in Rise of Skywalker. If the Sith are indeed known but their abilities aren't, it stands to ask just how much people actually know about the Sith in general.

Bo Katan had already been introduced back in Season 2, and the arc had building up for a while by the time we got to season three, so it's not like it all came out of nowhere. And the show is called The Mandalorian and Mandalorian culture was a big part of it, so it made perfect sense for one the franchise's most important Mandalorian characters would show up. This is a shared universe, so of course we're going to be getting crossovers and connections.

You mean being awesome?
My apologies I should say season 2 and 3 were boring because of some cartoon characters I don't care about.

I doubt they'll do this, but did wonder if there might be an epilogue set post ROTJ with a Nuremberg style trial and Dedra et al in the dock. (there's also the horrible scenario of Lonni in the dock because Luthen is dead and he can't prove he was working for the Rebellion all along.)

As I say, unlikely, I'm guessing Gilroy will want the show to end moments before Rogue One begins, but it'd be interesting.

^^I too have thought about the show having an epilogue showing what characters are still alive and weren't shown getting killed in Rogue One are up to post-ROTJ, though I doubt they'll do it as I suspect their goal is to have this show flow seamlessly into Rogue One for any who wish to watch in the order of Andor S1, S2, Rogue One.
