Odd Job, Jaws. Very cool.mmmm...I don't know...a little too cool for a mere henchman?...
You'll need to pay my late guinea pig a royalty. Perhaps 5000 Hartz pellets would be sufficient

He didn't have time. Far too busy mating with his children. No self-control, I'm afraid. It shows you that line in SOAPDISH was right about certain GPs. Ramrod was actually Cocoa's nickname. His estranged-but-relieved wife Peanut was left alone her their second litter. By strange coincidence, when Ripley shouted ''RUN!!!!!'' as ALIENS aired on TV, Peanut whooshed right under our recliner like the Flash on crack.
I would like to find that lab...I swear, the man was grown in a lab to be Bond.
I did not! That's super cool.Do people here realize that the director of The Cage gave a future James Bond his big break?
RS was appointment viewing in my house too. I'm glad to hear it's still enjoyable to watch! You know, I was a big Remington Steele fan back in the day (NO!) but I've gone back to watch some old episodes and it's like plugging pure joy directly into my veins.
Luckily, I have 3 hours free on(I have three hours of Andor to watch every week so that's eating up all my TV time at the moment.)
My wife and I are really enjoying Mobland but it’s more Tom Hardy’s show than Pierce’s. Pierce is fun in it, though.I saw The Matador too. Pierce was amazing in that. But I haven't seen Mobland - anyone here seen it?
SecondedI remember seeing The Matador at the cinema, remember liking it but haven't seen it since. Still never seen The Tailor of Panama. In terms of recent Pierce there's obviously Black Bag as well which everyone should watch!
If you liked The Matador (definitely one of his best performances) try also The Tailor of Panama.
Films as well as books? Those who neglected the books might find themselves lost in the films (RUSSIA HOUSE especially). For a similar feeling, try to figure out HBO's ''Westworld'' with one viewing, if not more. So, you're all saying I should see The Tailor of Panama and Black Bag? Got it. Thanks!
ETA: Tailor is Le Carre? That should be an easy sell. My hubby LOVES Le Carre!
His dad loved the books, but Hubby hasn't read any yet. We saw The Night Manager, Little Drummer Girl, and the original Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and loved all of them.Films as well as books?
it does have one of the best soundtracks of any Bond film. Even as goofy as the lyrics are (and I don't think she even sang it often in her shows) Bassey's singing is beautiful, and the soundtrack in general is wonderful.Moonraker is the goofiest Bond movie ever made that doesn't have Woody Allen in the cast but it's so much fun. It's ideal background Bond if you're working on something or just need breezy escapism with a killer soundtrack.
