Spoilers Andor - Season 2

One could argue that all Star Wars is rehash of something else. And nothing is truly original.
The original movie has things lifted form Japanese cinema, Flash Gordon etc
The mandalorian lifts things from westerns.
The acolyte was said by the showrunner to be frozen meets kill bill.
The force awakens takes a lot from a new hope lol.
It's all in the execution ain't it. Sometimes it works and sometimes it fails.
Yes, but here's the flaw in this reasoning. In every instance, the creators were inspired by things that were not Star Wars.

Except in the case of "The Force Awakens." When the goal was just to rehash Star Wars in the safest way possible.

The Acolyte was pretty good, a shame it got the axe, but that's more down to bad business practices on the part of Disney more than anything else. If you're spending so much on a show that not being in the top ten every week is a breaking point for it, you should rethink your spending habits and viewer expectations. Andor just being two and done regardless was the better move, at least for me the viewer, who doesn't want to care how well it does beyond my enjoyment.

If I were to rank the live action shows I'd probably go

1) Andor
2) Acolyte
3) Skeleton Crew
4) Mandalorian
5) Ahsoka
6) Obi-Wan Kenobi
7) Book of Boba Fett

And of those I only thought the Book of Boba Fett was actively bad, and Kenobi was pretty disappointing.
