Not many that I know of, most people aren't that stupid.
There is a reason we have warnings now.

Not many that I know of, most people aren't that stupid.
I'm sure we can figure something out.
When you join the production team you can give it a go. But be prepared to be shot down by folks with more authority and experience.I'm sure we can figure something out.
That episode gave me closure that I didn't even know that I needed. That was indeed pretty stupid and one of the final fangasm moments in the 3rd season, but I enjoyed the show for what it was. Honestly as far as that goes I would rate the Ro Laren episode as one of the best. Something kind of unexpected, but Michelle Forbes rules.
Sadly, it only takes one idiot to create the warnings. There is a reason we have warnings now.![]()
I do, but that's part of the problem with the old 26 ep structure.I actually enjoy talking to you quite a bit about random shit. I don’t think you have a handle on the realities of TV production.
I'm more on the Lore Writing side & structural side of things. When you join the production team you can give it a go. But be prepared to be shot down by folks with more authority and experience.
But I do want to give the Live-Action filming side more time, that's why I'm such a big advocate of the Trimester Schedule for filming and TV series.
10-12 episodes per Season feels too short by most fans.
22-26 episodes per Season feels too long by most production crews.
17 episodes per Season feels just right.
I think they have budgetary issues due to the "Streaming Wars" that screws things over. You don’t think production companies have people investigating these things?
I think they have budgetary issues due to the "Streaming Wars" that screws things over.
On top of scheduling problems and the recent Strikes didn't help.
They don't.You would think that the UFP/StarFleet would value their officers lives more and not make tech that is harmful to their own officers.
I say it didn't happen because they don't utilize the experience. First Contact makes zero sense because a whole starship with a crew familiar with the Borg are sent away from the attacking Borg.Who's to say that didn't happen?
There was significant time off for the Enterprise-D after they stopped the Borg over Earth the first time around.
They could've de-briefed every officer on the Enterprise-D during that time.
You don't just want knowledge but leadership and experience. You have several senior officers and billets need to be filled. Nope, just leave them where they are.Who's to say that they didn't share the knowledge? I'm sure plenty of StarFleet upper management debriefed all the crew on what went on during the mission.
They most likely have full logs of everything that went on.
That's not all leadership though. That the upper level management AKA (Main Cast) within Star Trek stay together?
I'm sure they cycled out plenty of lower deckers through-out the show.
So you request a new ship assignment. You don't be a dick to another officer and get them demoted because you hate your job.Well, it happened. Jim Kirk didn't realize how much he hated doing a "Desk Job" as being part of the Flag Officer.
He missed the action of being on the bridge of a StarShip.
Straw man argument is a straw man.Apparently you would rather see StarFleet Officers die because their computer panels killed them over something the Antagonists does directly to them.
Well, it's the whole question of the OP.What about it?
And it's not like my phone is in combat.
You would hope they know what their doing. That wasn’t what I asked.
These folks have bean counters crunching numbers every single day. I imagine they know their business.
But StarFleet knows that their Officers eventually get into Ship Battles. They don't.
And it's not like my phone is in combat.
That was the Admiral's Personal Bias against Captain JLP. He sent them away.I say it didn't happen because they don't utilize the experience. First Contact makes zero sense because a whole starship with a crew familiar with the Borg are sent away from the attacking Borg.
I guess that's the reward for Riker & the Senior Staff for saving Earth, they get to stay together? You don't just want knowledge but leadership and experience. You have several senior officers and billets need to be filled. Nope, just leave them where they are.
TrueThat's not all leadership though.
Who was demoted? So you request a new ship assignment. You don't be a dick to another officer and get them demoted because you hate your job.
Yet it has still happened for multiple centuries across many shows.Straw man argument is a straw man.
They gave it a one-line reason as to why it's gone.Well, it's the whole question of the OP.
Not exploding or causing fires. The touchscreen is the touchscreen. Vhat can be done?
But I don't have much faith in Bean Counters on getting things right.
Yeah, that’s their job. Sometimes that includes giving sobering reality checks to the creatives. You would hope they know what their doing.
But I don't have much faith in Bean Counters on getting things right.
They only view things in the lens of $$$.
Not exploding or causing fires.
That's the first thing.
You would hope they know what their doing.
But I don't have much faith in Bean Counters on getting things right.
They only view things in the lens of $$$.
Indeed. It might even be part of the premise now and not something needing fixing because it's been there for so long. But StarFleet knows that their Officers eventually get into Ship Battles.
It's not like this hasn't been a problem throughout all of Star Trek.
Poor leadership. That was the Admiral's Personal Bias against Captain JLP. He sent them away.
See above.guess that's the reward for Riker & the Senior Staff for saving Earth, they get to stay together?
Decker unit.Who was demoted?
And it might just be a feature of the drama.Yet it has still happened for multiple centuries across many shows.
The Titan-A scenes should have been in a refit ENT-E.It was just for lame emotional moment, if only it was the Enterprise E it would have worked better
The Titan-A scenes should have been in a refit ENT-E.
Then we should have had a ENT-D + ENT-E flyby scene at the end.
Considering Frontier Day is supposed to commemorate the NX-01's launch, it should have been at the celebrations. Then we could have had a scene with it, the first Enterprise, the D, the Enterprise from the series which that season is meant to be a celebration of and the Titan A, the future Enterprise, do a flyby together and really get some memberberry juices flowing. The Titan-A scenes should have been in a refit ENT-E.
Then we should have had a ENT-D + ENT-E flyby scene at the end.
