More casual disinterest. The characters are not engaging enough for me, which is hilarious given Picard's warp command.Ignoring all the stuff about how you hate TNG,
Hatred implies a lot more emotional investment that I don't have.

Oh, please, what ridiculous posturing it is that you're posting. It's an established fact that fans' opinions vary. IDIC, you know?Does anyone want to make internet history right here, right now, and say Cost of Living is a good episode?
Whoa! You some kind of radical or something? "Watching something first?" That's not what the internet is for!Maybe we try watching it first?
There's that F word again. Gene have mercy on our souls! It might not even be fun.
I'm sure they screwed it up somehow. Kurtzman is nothing but a hack and a screwup!Spock chest hair confirmed. This lines up with his depiction in TOS so it's clearly canon and is getting the important details right.
I have a feeling that it might be a reality-bending illusion. So my theory that the Spock/Chapel scene was a flashback to happier times is in question due to the fact that she seems to be wearing an engagement/wedding ring in said scene.
And of course, fired.I'm sure they screwed it up somehow. Kurtzman is nothing but a hack and a screwup!
And also a kale eating hipster with a manbun.

Thankfully, he's on his 6th firing so the 7th is free! And of course, fired.
All the shows blatantly contradict themselves from time to time (including the Berman era series)TAS gets blatantly contradicted by some of the live action shows including Strange New Worlds.
All the shows blatantly contradict themselves from time to time (including the Berman era series)
Example from TNG:
In TNG S1 Heart Of Glory Worf states he grew up on Galt (a Farming Colony)
Then in S4 Family and EVERY episode after (where they contrast Worf's upbringing with Alexander's) Worf suddenly grew up ON Earth.
^^^
One example of MANY internal contradictions. Welcome to the worlds of Star Trek![]()
IF he's anything like a cat, he's only got two left.Thankfully, he's on his 6th firing so the 7th is free!
I think only the murder mystery is on the holodeck. Was I mistaken, or does it look like we're having holodeck adventures in the TOS era now? Because it's not as if those weren't lame, worthless filler episodes to begin with...![]()

Now??? ... Ummm... TAS which is part of the TOS Era, had a holodeck episode. Was I mistaken, or does it look like we're having holodeck adventures in the TOS era now?

A Fistful of Datas is a personal favourite.I don't know. They vary in quality in quality, but "The Big Good-Bye," "Our Man Bashir," and "Bride of Chaotica" are great fun.
Heck, the "The Big Good-Bye" is arguably TNG's best first-season episode. Certainly, it's my favorite episode from TNG's first season -- and the one I'm mostly like to revisit.
The Reg holodeck scenes were a hoot.A Fistful of Datas is a personal favourite.
