Just like DS9.You also had the X-Files approach which mostly did stand alone stories but once in awhile would do one the big picture episode or two-parter.

Stranger Things star Sadie Sink is joining Tom Holland in the next installment of the 'Spider-Man' movie franchise.deadline.com
There is also a possibility that Spider-Man 4 will appear first and then move on to the X-Men movie. But it could also be Mary Jane.I guess she's not playing Jean Gray as was rumored then.
I guess they could be introducing Jean in a Spider-Man movie.I guess she's not playing Jean Gray as was rumored then.

Technically, she wasn't.Zendaya was Mary Jane, I doubt they'll recast.
That's still one of her rumored roles, and IGN pointed out that Feige did announce that the next few movies would be introducing X-Men characters.I guess she's not playing Jean Gray as was rumored then.
I could have sworn they had announced that Zendaya and Jacob Batalon were both coming back. While my first thought would be Mary Jane, it would be weird for them to introduce a second MJ Watson, when Zendaya is Michelle Jones-Watson. Technically she's not the same character, but it seems like Zendaya's MJ is more or less a new version of Mary Jane, just with a different name. But a Spider-Man movie seems like kind of an odd place to introduce Jean since as far as I know the characters have no connection in the comics, except for maybe the occasional team with Spider-Man and the X-Men.Zendaya was Mary Jane, I doubt they'll recast. Considering the ending of No Way Home, it would be ok to move on from that part of Spider-Man from now on.
Technically, she wasn't.
One rumor I've seen is that they're borrowing a little bit from Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends but replacing Firestar with Jean. It'll be interesting to see if that's true.I guess she's not playing Jean Gray as was rumored then.
Technically Marisa Tomei wasn't playing Uncle Ben, but that didn't stop her dying while giving Peter the 'Great Power' speech. Putting a new interesting spin on familiar elements has been the rule for this incarnation of Spidey, and I don't see any reason why they'd suddenly switch back to word perfect faithfulness to the comics.Technically, she wasn't.
Spader? Ooh, shall we have an Ultron appearance of some kind?Production has begun on the ‘VISION’ TV show. Starring Paul Bettany, Ruaridh Mollica, James Spader, Faran Tahir and Todd Stashwick.
