Great song. I had to go look up the disco version from the 70s.

Usually, a cover has to be special. Not since 99% of Devo's covers has there been something sooooooooo good! Well, along with other bands I don't recall or haven't found out about yet.

Still energetic great stuff, I can dig it, but that added flair from a small decade later really hits the extra spot (never mind the cooler looking visuals, discoreek or otherwise!). IMHO, YMMV, EIEIO, ETC...

Also, don't you dig how they always use studio recordings to lipsync? Trying to do all the choreographed jiggle while singing and music banging would be a tad much on the artistes, no?

Sorry for the double post...

Lip-synching performances were really early music videos and were continued to be used long after MTV as inexpensive promotional videos for various artists (remember Solid Gold in the US?). We kinda frown down on them now after the whole Milli Vanilli thing... :o

Had to go to YouTube to look that one up. It may not be showing up on some US servers, but it's cool nonetheless.

Sorry, I didn't know it was geo-locked, I'm currently logged into a VPN using an IP in Switzerland. I'll edit the above post and add a US friendly link
It's really nice to see some other jazz lovers on here.

I listen to all kinds of music, and have mp3s I use in the media players of my vehicles and listen using the random play/shuffle mode.
