Do you consider Section 31 a Trek movie?

Is Section 31 a Star Trek movie or long episode?

It's true that there is a lot of negativity towards anything a big franchise does, both genuine and manufactured for clicks.

But I'm not sure why we're bringing that up in a Section 31 thread. This time the boy cried wolf and it really was a wolf, and everyone saw it was a wolf.

Probably because despite being a wolf the franchise isn't ending.

I did notice, while watching something that had some of the trailer clips, it does carry an MPAA rating of PG-13.

I'm sure some other TV movies may carry that, but since it was rated by the MPAA, I would consider it as a movie that way as well.

I do think it's a little odd that they went to the trouble of submitting to the now-MPA (MPAA was the old name) ratings board, paid the fee, and then waited around for that whole process to get completed, if they didn't intend for it to be shown in commercial theaters.
