The James Bond Film Discussion Thread (With Bonus Lazenby!)

There are many negative comments on the internet, including those who say 'Bond will be 'she' or 'gay'. I don't think any of those who make these comments have watched a prime series. There are many works aimed at prime hetero men and female audiences. Reacher, Jack Ryan and Bosch series are completely aimed at hetero men. For women, there are The Summer I Turned Pretty, Maxton Hall, Culpa Mia series and even Rings of Power. Well, that doesn't mean they will do Bond very well. There is a possibility that they will do it badly again.

Such people love to invent non-existent controversies.

Curious if they will go "universe" with Bond. We've joked about spin offs in the past. Does it lend it self to that? A Felix Leiter series? A bunch of young boffins at Q Branch getting into trouble, much to Maj. Boothroyd's chagrin. Jinx or Wai-Lin films?

Once the deal is done, they will probably release a movie every year, including the main series and spin-offs, in theaters, with the movies released on Prime Video '1-2 months after their release. I wouldn't be surprised if they also do a TV series for Prime Video. Or maybe they could release a Bond movie every 2-3 years and release 1-2 TV series every year.
