They basically got the Warp VFX done correctly to the TNG-era spec.

The Warp Streaks & Warp Star was done correctly in S31, unlike the Hyper-Space tunnel that Discovery loves to use.

But when has the Tricorder ever been designed to operate in "LandScape" mode over "Portrait"?
Duh, because they finally outlawed portrait.

Jörg has identified a couple other ships around the Baraam, Seven of Nine's Fenris Ranger ship and Majalan shuttles from SNW

Why is this a spoiler????
People have complained about youtube videos slowing down their browser, hiding them in a spoiler tab keeps them from rendering until it's opened.

If SNW was overwriting TOS then that phaser shouldn't exist in a modern show, so its presence hints that the TOS phasers are still a thing.
SNW still takes place before TOS so it hasn't overwritten anything yet.

SNW's "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" already shows that TOS will be different as Khan's birth is moved 40 years later. The Eugenics Wars of the 90s gets bumped to a later date.

A difference that makes no difference plot and story wise

Doesn't change that SNW is overwriting TOS (currently). Arguably all the major events of TOS and TNG, etc will still "work" as SNW's episode points out that despite time tampering things have a way of occurring again.

Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow said that the date keeps moving. So there's no reason it can't be pushed back to the '90s for TOS, which takes place after SNW.

Agreed. Also that we the viewers lack any time protection gear so any episode we see has the asterisk of non-stop time tampering. Works really when in covering over any perceived continuity errors from us viewers :D

Changes a date. A minor thing. Wouldn't be the first time. The story remains the same no matter what numbers you punch in. Story is number one.

I'd say it also changes the context of the story knowing that events happened to make it happen in the future that were not in the original story. Or another way to look at it, the events of the original story spawned this story that tells how it came to be after a detour to Albuquerque. Also, doesn't change the original post that SNW is altering TOS. Or more to your phrasing, altering it in a way that some people don't care about it as story comes first. :)
