But I doubt you would kill the guy who did it.Burning the Quran is a dick move anyway. It's insulting an entire religion. You just don't do that in a civilized society. I sure wouldn't want anyone burning a Bible....
Of course not. But most Muslims wouldn't have killed this guy either. It's just a lunatic fringe. But I doubt you would kill the guy who did it.
A dreadful song too, in my opinion. I really enjoy eurovision but can't see this doing well unfortunately. My country officially chose it's candidate for Eurovision: and it seems I'm the only one who hates it, especially because it's not epilepsy friendly. This is the song do NOT watch it if you have epilepsy, autism or photo sensitive
They say the uk is going to do well most years and we usually do rubbish. The book makers say something different, but not all songs are released yet
So, update. I got my replacement birth certificate (for $52) and it arrived on Jan 24th, sent it out next day air (for $131!) thru UPS. The USPS has managed to "find" my original birth certificate and delivered it on the 30th. And the passport office now says they have one of them (no idea which one) and my application is back in process. So fingers crossed it'll get done in time!Currently trying to get my passport for an upcoming business trip. Never had one before since the only time I was out of the country, which was decades ago, a passport wasn't needed at the time for where I went. Sent all my documents to the passport agency back in December, with the extra cost for an expedited process. They didn't like the birth certificate I sent. Notarized copies aren't valid (apparently), so I had to send the original. I sent that on Jan 6th by Priority Mail, supposed to take at most 3 days. It's now Jan 21st, over 2 weeks later, and the online tracker keeps saying "arriving late Jan 13th". Put in a support ticket, all the post office could tell me is "it's in transit". It's been "in transit" for nearly 2 weeks! I put in another support ticket, plus a "lost mail" search request today. In the meantime, just in case it's truly lost, I had to apply for a new birth certificate from a state I haven't lived in for nearly 50 years. Assuming that goes through without any issues, that'll take another week to get to me, then I have to send it off to the passport office again. At this point there's a good chance I'll miss my only opportunity to visit a truly foreign country.![]()
I need a "No Drama" sign in my life right now.
I'll go halfsies with you

Same here. Saw a post about the Star Wars prequels and people are like, "wait, people think these are bad? Have they seen the sequels?"I don't like the Star Trek gatekeepers who cherry pick from the franchise and say "this is Star Trek" and "this is not real Star Trek." It's all Star Trek. Some of it is bad, some of it it average, some of it is great.
They had an entire country worth of worth of singers and he was the best they could come up with? The song isn't great, and the lighting effects are horrible. I was watching minimized on the computer screen, but I don't think I could handle that in person in a dark stadium. My country officially chose it's candidate for Eurovision: and it seems I'm the only one who hates it, especially because it's not epilepsy friendly. Yeah I know, it sucks. Here's more information for you about how he got chosen if you're interested. When it's Eurovision my country decided that one year the northern part choses a candidate, the other year the southern part. They had an entire country worth of worth of singers and he was the best they could come up with?
