Spoilers Star Trek: Picard General Discussion Thread

Surely it's a Ringworld-shaped space habitat :p

Personally it made me think of the Culture novels, which is weird because they don't even have pictures.

I rewatched the three seasons of Picard this week, finished the last season today. Despite the memberberries I can see the appeal of Season 3 and its a shame there won't be a series with Captain Seven, even if it has the annoying Jack Crusher Picard in it.

I just finished Season 3 for the first time.

I didn't make the connection that Vadic's bizarre hand/floating head thing was the Borg Queen, until I read it on Memory Alpha. I thought it was some other changeling, even though the head did indicate that this faction of changelings wasn't the same type of being as her.

I hope this is really and truly the last time we ever see the Borg in Picard's life.

Also I thought that these "evolved" changelings' fluid form was rather revolting as it looked like slithering meat.

My mind immediately went to Ringworld since I'm ignorant of the Halo franchise, despite it being so popular amongst my video game enthusiast peers.

No, but Halo was the most recent mass media franchise to feature them and make them widely seen in pop culture, so I wouldn't be surprised if Glavis Ringworld were a response to Halo.

Another thing that stood out to me in S3: Did you know that Daystrom Station has AN A.I. SECURITY SYSTEM? Well, let's mention it yet again just in case you forgot since the last time we mentioned it just a couple minutes ago!

It's ok drama.

And does a disservice to Beverly. It's the drama that people complain about in other Trek's, but accept because supposedly the audience cares about these characters.

Well, I don't. I am ok with Picard, but Beverly was always presented as honest and ethical and trying to get people to understand.

And then she gives up the way Picard gave up on Starfleet. And I'm supposed to applaud?

Anyone think this scene needs more quips?

They pulled a Millennium Falcon inside the Death Star :D

It was beautiful

But why did t hey need to have all the ships lights on if only 5 were onboard? Less lights more stealth

I hope people WATCH IT, instead of PRETENDING TO WATCH IT to MAKE A POINT that they DON'T REALLY UNDERSTAND!
I really ENJOYED THIS SCENE. ADULTS working TOGETHER to SOLVE A PROBLEM.

I hope I WON'T BE BANNED for BEING POSITIVE about TERRY MATALAS and not the other guy!
You'll be reply banned for continuing to bring your grievances with other posters into threads, as well as arguing publicly against moderator actions. Plus the caps are giving me a headache.

Keep this up and you'll be earning your next formal warning.
