Merging Ingram, Excelsior and Ent-B designs is... Fun.

Currently, she measures 546 meters on the nose.

Comments welcome, more later :-)

One thing I will always love with this dude right here.....

He'll start something, get sidetracked by two or three new projects at the same time, work on those....
AND finish both the main quest and all of the side quests at the same time. And with amazing results.

You ALWAYS keep being you man! I love this stuff, I live for this stuff!

I had to go back up and look. I dunno, I kinda like the inverted triangles!
I think they are supposed to be landing pads... Still not sitting right to me, I shall play for a bit.

Thank you!

I think some ADHD is coming into play, my focus is all over the place at the moment. I have a few things going on in RL, so it's not a surprise. As for the Uber Excelsior, it occurred to me that I have done it - the Oldfield Class - the very first model that was posted in this thread. Oh, I'll come to this one and finish her. But I'm not in a rush.

I've played (very extensively) in the TMP era and also in the TNG and DSC eras as well. TOS? Where it all began? Well I have the Jeffries Class Phase II concept, and that's it... I grew up with TOS, for decades that was the only Star Trek, so when it came calling and said "build me," who am I to argue?

Ok, that may make me sound a little nuts, and what can I say other than yes - I am a nut, but a friendly one.

Blueprints? I have a shelf full of them, including the TOS Constitution, Ptolomy and Saladin/Hermes. I may be "rationalising" these designs because having researched the TOS Connie I found out that the original shooting model for "The Cage" depicted a smaller ship, with fewer decks. She was scaled up for the series proper, but the model wasn't altered too much, hence why the windows seem to be too big and off kilter. That's a change I've made already, re-scaling the windows to be a normal size. Yes, I'm lining things up to a deck plan, Yes, the overall shape will be right, and as much as possible I will stick to the established length as well.

Anyway I could waffle on... busy morning, Doctors in a little bit so... More soon!
